What to say about a person who have never really done anything in her life yet, who have never seen anything, who doesn't have the right to say shit about life... I just turned 20 and I still live in a small country in the heart of Europe, Czech Republic (yeah, the former Czechoslovakia, since that's the only thing most of you will know). I have moved from a smaller city to a capital, Prague, and so far I love being here. 'Cause that's where the important things happen.

I'm a huge music fan. I've grown up on punk and punk-rock stuff, I've heard more of Ramones songs than fairy-tales when I was a child. But I have found my way through most of the music styles, I just somehow can't relate to rap and hip hip music in general, but I usually go for interesting artists, not for one style. My loves of these last couple of years are Enter Shikari, Editors, White Lies, Foals and Florence & The Machine, but it changes a lot with my mood. I definitely consider THE CLASH and JOY DIVISION to be the biggest loves of my life!

There was a time I used to proudly say I was a photographer. Now I know I'm just a little shit wannabe but it doesn't stop me. Couple of years ago I have started a small school magazine with my friends, now we are turning it to a music magazine so I'm the chief of photography so to say. That would probably be because I'm the only person (not counting the big names in Czech photography) who can take something at least a little bit good when something's happening on the stage. And like to have a career in concert photography one time but I don't now if I'll ever be good enough. (HERE's my personal blog with some of my photos, articles are written in Czech...)

There are things they say you can't use when you're interviewed for a job or a school but now I choose to use them both - I love to read and I love to write. When it comes to reading, I can read about anything people throw my way, when it's boring it just usually takes longer. In high school I have became a huge Oscar Wilde fan, not saying I have read everything, but I just like his way with words. I love Paulo Coelho and I think Veronika Decides To Die is one of the best books I have ever read. I quite like Haruki Murakami but unfortunately I've most of his works in Czech and I thing the Czech translation just haven't done the justice even thou it's pretty good, so now I'm reading him in English and I find it less boring and much more creative, and I'm in love with Dance Dance Dance! I've recently discovered Pascal Mercier and I am absolutely in love with his Night Train To Lisbon. (HERE's my Goodreads profile if you wanna know what I read at the moment!)

As for writing, I'm a wannabe journalist, I write mostly about music but anything to do with culture is fine. A long time ago I used to write fanfiction for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel since I've always been a huge fan of these. But that was long time ago and I was writing mostly in Czech. Over the year I've found out my mother tongue just doesn't cut it so I started writing in English. Too bad, even after years of English lessons and watching TV series and films and listening to music and reading, I still run on the little to none of English grammar (I blame it on my high school teacher!). I know I usually try to make complicated sentence and I screw it all up. And I'm unable to learn from my mistakes. But hey, people have survived worse thing than bad grammar (even thou if it was in Czech I would but some serious hate on everyone who wouldn't be able to use the right grammar).

Now since I'm obsessed with Sons of Anarchy these days I started writing a Happy fiction. But I find it difficult to finish something I've once started so it might not be up for a while so you wouldn't have to wait awfully long time to read another chapter. I however plan to finish that story and when it will be done I put it out for all Happy freaks to read. Until than I'll be just a polite reader and reviewer... :)
