Howdy, I've been reading here for a while. Got interested in Harry Potter fan fiction after the Goblet of Fire and couldn't wait to read book five. Since then I've gone through many fics. I started out reading stories that stuck to cannon and usually involved Harry/Ginny shippings. I grew bored with that pretty quickly after discovering azkaban fics and alternate universe stories. I prefer independent Harry that actually has a pair but I'm bit leery towards stories where Harry has godlike powers. Alternate boy who lived and Slytherin/Harry fics are my favorite. No slash, I'll tolerate it in rare cases, but the rest of story better be fantastic. Nothing personal but I'd rather the character I'm trying to identify with not be getting it on with another guy...I use to love manipulative/Dumbledore stories but not ones where he is simply a crazy evil incompetent guy that Harry outwits at every turn.

The first couple of Harry Potter books were magical, I loved book 3-5, 6 was extremely dissapointing and Deathly Hallows was ok. I wasn't too thrilled with the epilogue but it can lead to some pretty interesting plots for the next generation.

Currently I have a lot free time so I decided to create an account and take a shot at writing my own story. I value originality and apologize if you find someting that's been done many times before in my story.
