The first time was involuntary, I am certain. He did not walk toward me so much as fall against me, body crumpling in a graceful arch. I remained still, unsure of how to proceed. "You're alive" he breathed, so softly that only I could have heard him.

When Spock left Starfleet after the encounter with Nero, Jim thought he'd lost his chance at their destined friendship. Upon returning to Earth, he discovers that Spock lost far more. Jim's willing to fight for their future, if Spock will let him.

Jim and Spock are tired and in denial of hearing rumours about their alleged secret burning passionate love for each other. So they decide to take action. Because the rumours are Wrong. Really.
