He had to go through his son Chuck Bass first but ends up meeting the sultry mistress of Bart named Blair that Chuck himself fascinates. It was weird for Dan to be around such woman, but Blair seemed to have a leash on him. In the end, she's a Bass women and he is intended to kill one Bass.

"…But good things don't come easy, or so she has heard." Perhaps he was reading too much into the subtle cues. There were many things she could have been upset about. —Dan writes his first short story about Blair Waldorf. He learns much in the process, but he still knows no more than when he started – other than just maybe he shouldn't have been so quick to judge her.

Dan and Blair in a Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice setting. That is all that needs to be said.

[AU from before season 1] Dreams are just dreams, and Blair wasn't about to go crazy over them.

ANGST. This is how I justify their actions in the Season 5 finale and then set things right.

AU. Dan is a writer struggling in his inner conflict. Blair couldn't let go of a guy. They met before, and they meet again and their lives changed slowly when they started to know each other. Gossip Girl TV or Book never happened here

AU; While escaping a party on his book tour, Dan Humphrey finds himself drawn to an enigmatic woman escaping a party of her own.
