Haley started tattooing while in the Art Institute in 1994. Self-taught, she labored on friends in her free time while working coloring witty books. In 1998, answering an ad inside paper, she was hired at Milios Salon for a tattoo artist. While with Milios, she worked withJason Leisge (now at Infinity Tattoo within Portland, Oregon) and his brother Tim Kern. While at Milios Haley increased her knowledge of the art of skin image by talking with together with observing other talented tattoo artists in your community such as Guy Aitchison (to help who he owes a superb debt to for their openness and encouragement), Jason Leisge, Kim Saigh, Tom Wahhh, later Jon Concept, and also his brother Tim who was apprenticing at Dreamcatchers with Columbia, Missouri. In 1999, she participated in some sort of tattoo demonstration at University of Illionois-Chicago with regard to a lecture series celebrating entire body art.
