Author has written 11 stories for Legend of Zelda, Brütal Legend, and Rise of the Guardians. Introduction I Live For The Fantasy refuses to divulge anything to do with the world outside of FanFiction.Net (including gender-notice the lack of gender-specific pronouns), as it is Fantasy's firm belief that anyone reading this profile is a potential stalker/alien who wishes to read people's minds via their FanFiction accounts, and that anyone who is not a stalker/alien will be attracted by Fantasy's mysterious nature/strange humour and will immediately favourite upon reading this profile. Writing (General) Fantasy has an inclination towards Legend of Zelda fictions and occasionally Skulduggery Pleasant fictions, however is inclined to post in any category should a desire be felt. Fantasy has recently discovered Rise of the Guardians, a rather inspiring movie, and has a feeling fictions will come pouring in from there as well. In terms of writing, Fantasy in general does not use state of being verbs, adverbs or 'ing' verbs in stories as they are rumoured to weaken writing. Fantasy also attempts to follow the 'show not tell' rule, however has been known to break it. Fantasy has a burning hatred for Mary Sues/Gary Stus/perfect characters of any kind. Fantasy has not used OCs in stories outside of minor roles yet, and currently has no intention to, feeling more comfortable with canon characters. Fantasy is capable of writing any pairing except slash, which Fantasy regrettably is not supportive of. Fantasy has a tendency to write pairings depending on mood, and often stays with one pairing a long time before switching at any random time. Fantasy is most definitely NOT HARDCORE with any pairing and does not mean any offense to readers when switching stories/pairings, as Fantasy has a sense of creativity that becomes claustrophobic when working on one story/pairing too long. Fantasy's stories, depending on mood, vary in style, genre and rating, and therefore vary greatly in quality. Fantasy, depending on schedule, and yet again, mood, will update and post up new stories when the chance is given/when satisfied with the amount of reviews. Fantasy posts up more one shots than multi chapters, since they are generally easier to write, howeve is capable of the latter. Fantasy does not like changing stories to Complete status too quickly in case Fantasy wishes to edit them later. Writing (Legend of Zelda fans only) In terms of Legend of Zelda, it is quite possible that Fantasy will only write SS, TP or AU fictions, as SS and TP are her favourite games of the series. In particular, Fantasy likes TP for its eerie, dark, and otherwise poetic feel, and SS for the deeper portrayal of characters. Fantasy's favourite characters in terms of canon are Midna (TP) and Fi (SS). Fantasy's favourite character to write with and otherwise explore/experiment with in fictions is Dark Link, since well, he's basically the phantom of Link, and his origins just have so much to expand on. Besides, that scene from TP (You know it. The creepy, incredibly dark one Lanayru shows you) still calls to Fantasy in sleep, just longing to be understood/experimented with/just generally written about. Fantasy writes with a mute Link, because this is how he is represented in canon and as such, Fantasy feels comfortable with it, and reasons that characters without speech are interesting to write. Fantasy finds this series inspirational and currently has a series of ideas that she will act upon at some time or another. Writing (Skulduggery Pleasant fans only) Fantasy knows about books, and is a fan of Skulduggery Pleasant because it is the one series that gripped her from the start. (Including Harry Potter. Fantasy just likes SP better. Do not hate because of it.) Fantasy’s favourite characters are (SPOILERS FOR KOTW) Stephanie (Valkyrie’s Reflection), Darquesse (Valkyrie’s alter ego) and Lord Vile (Skulduggery’s alter ego) because they all make such great villains and Fantasy just loves reading and writing about them. Fantasy leans more towards Legend of Zelda and Rise of the Guardians, however is currently working on a Skulduggery Pleasant fiction in which the reflection gets its way. Writing (Rise of the Guardians fans only) Fantasy is absolutely fascinated by the concept of Pitch and his Nightmares. Fear is an amazing theme to write with, and Fantasy also finds it fascinating that there is little difference between Pitch and Jack, something Fantasy intends to write a whole lot about. And the proposal scene-Fantasy can't help but wonder what would happen if Jack accepted an alliance with evil. Cold and dark-two of the best writing themes EVER put together! In short, Fantasy seriously loves this movie and the possibilities it left by the end. Reviews/Requests/Challenges Fantasy absolutely loves constructive reviews and definitely prefers them to positive ones, however definitely prefers the latter to flames or worse, no review at all. Fantasy does not like the character limits on PM review replies, and so replies to reviews via new chapters in multi chaptered stories or edits in one shots. Fantasy takes requests and challenges depending on mood. Lastly, if you read everything up there, then here’s to the hope that maybe you will like Fantasy’s writing and more importantly, REVIEW, FAVOURITE, AND FOLLOW! |
