Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter.

Mostly Harry Potter for now.

I seem to be writing one shots that are basically just scenes. I am having more trouble plotting out something longer. I got about four chapters into a year one story and thought to myself "where's the conflict". Conflict drives drama. So much of the conflict in the first three book is Mystery. Who did what, and with all my readers knowing all the original mystery I was inventing conflict between an eleven year old and adults, and it just got silly as I thought out where it was going.

I used to think the reason people wrote stories in starting in the summer after fifth year because that's a good time to take the story somewhere different. Harry has just watched Sirius die, he is seriously disillusioned with Dumbledore thus he has no adults in his life whose authority he respects. There is a lot of room with his inheritance from Sirius in that Harry can inherit the Black legacy. Also, to be perfectly honest, sixteen year old Harry is just about the right age that we can accept him going around killing people and having sex. It doesn't hurt that many feel Half Blood Prince is a weak follow-up to Order of the Phoenix. Now I know: it's just hard to set stories in the first three books, at least for me it is. I have seen them done, and done well. Just not by me

About my stories:

General Dumbledore: How I think Albus should have handled the fallout of book 2. I don't understand why Dumbledore didn't do his level best to destroy Malfoy. Lucius was the single largest threat to the peace and prosperity of the wizarding world that was visible in the books.

I Don't Think That Word Means What You Think: A silly look at the issue of blood purity. I probably fudged it a little. The source material implies that Clearwater was a muggle-born, I made up a couple of the Abraxas details and the Patricide stuff was mere insinuation on Harry's part with no evidence. Takes place somewhere in year 6 or so.

Sphinx's Riddle: Totally OOC. Harry wouldn't think of that and wouldn't joke about the killing curse, especially not in regard to the third task. Almost more of a knock-knock joke than anything else.

The Wild Hunt: I am pretty sure that in the back of my head this story was inspired by Hamilton's 'Merry Gentry' stories, a series that I will grudgingly admit to having read. I think I was trying to come up with a way to kill Voldemort without having to kill all the horcruxes.

What if Naruto had been selected for a different team? What if he'd had a different mentor? Who would guess the consequences would be so large?
