I'm Elena, I'm eighteen, and I really like to read as well as write.

I enjoy watching movies and listening to music. I have many favorite actors as well as musicians, but if I had to choose one person to meet out of everyone I would probably choose the lead singer/pianist of Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin... Andrew McMahon. His music really touches and inspires me.

I play softball and I am a very competitive person. I have a scholarship to attend Southern Arkansas University for my grades as well as my physical talent. I'm very friendly. I'm really shy at first but I love meeting new people. They usually have to talk to me first though...which gives people the impression that I "have my nose in the air" but I really don't. I am permanently attached to my cell phone and I don't think I could live without it. It might as well be glued to my right hand.

My favorite Harry Potter characters are S. Snape, S. Black, and the Weasley twins.

I don't have a preference in music. I give every band a fair chance no matter what genre they are. I don't like it when people say that a certain artist or band sucks. If they sucked then they wouldn't have a record deal or a label. If you don't like them then that's it...YOU don't like them, that doesn't mean that someone else might love them and acquire inspiration from them.

As for my fanfictions. I deleted them. I MAY (and might I add that is a huge may) try to rewrite them sometime because writing for me is very therapeutic. I had written a "Mary-Sue" but it was amazing bashed by two certain reviewers that didn't take the time to analyze their own horrifying fiction themselves. If you don't want to read a certain type of story... don't! However, this is not in defense to my "Mary-Sue" fiction. I like to write with out-of-character characters (haha, yeah I know.) because it's easier for the reader to indulge themselves into that role. As far as I know, all different age types read this material so it's harder for older readers to do this as their imagination has been depleted. Anyhow, I know when I was younger I imagined Draco and I alone in a room. :) haha. But yeah, I'm very open to being critiqued... not criticized.

The other story... was a much darker side of Harry that I wrote about. I incorporated things that I was dealing with at a younger age. I didn't know how to deal with it, so I wrote about it...in a way. Looking back now I'm glad I did this because through using my problems for a characted I was able to analyze and fix them. So that story will remain unwritten for the simple fact that that part of my life is thankfully over and now I'm a better person because of it.
