 Author has written 1 story for Twilight. So I'm another bored, horny housewife caught up in the squee worthy world that is Twilight. I discovered fan fiction in my plight to find a one shot to fill the void that was the "fade to black" honeymoon, and was caught up with the amount of amazing writers here (most notably, AngstGoddess-i.e. Wide Awake- I freakin worship your writing.) there are some really amazing writers on here! I actually shouldn't be doing any of this. I'm 28, married to the love of my life, and I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. I'm a full time student, I'm busy as hell, and all I can do is read and write about twilight. I've suckered others into the dark side, so I don't feel so bad. Fan Fic plots I hate Edward and Bella not getting together or together with other people. I'm pretty canon when it comes to couples. but after seeing New Moon...I may be open to some smut between Bella and Jacob... Canon stereotypes. Emmett is not always a doofus. Alice likes to do more than shop. Rosalie isn't a complete bitch 100% of the time. PLEASE give your characters some depth!! When people karaoke in fics. Ick. Texty language. I just can't see Edward texting Bella. "i luv u 4 eva". Bella getting pregnant because she's not being safe with birth control. I'm just not a fan. Get on birth control. When Bella DOES get pregnant, the miscarraige cop out. Unless you've had a miscarriage, you'll never really understand how traumatic it is. I hate when it's used as a literary device to get Bella out of being pregnant without having to have an abortion. Fan fic things I LOVE SMUT. I enjoy all smut. Dirty talking Edward (bold print underlined. nothing gets me going like a sweet respectful guy who knows some dirty words. :)...) AH stuff. (Wide Awake is the freaking Bee’s Knees.) Dirty talking Bella. (We can't have Edward talking to no one here ;)...) I love lemony smut, but it's a huge plus when there's a good plot. But I'm biased. After the fail that was breaking dawn, I need some smut with my plot. "fade to black" doesn't work with me. Darkward. He. OWNS. Me. Domward. gah. Right now I'm just doing some smutty one shots to get them out of my system...and because my husband never wants to give it up and I've got a sex drive like a 17 year old boy...which is probably why writing in EPOV appeals to me so much... |
