I'll Always Be With You - an Anxietyshipping fanfic

Status: On Hiatus - no ideas

Hey guys! My name is Aiko :) I just finished my freshmen year of high school with 4.0 GPA! Feeling super proud, and my plans for the summer include going to Cincinnati, Ohio, for the World Choir Games! We brought back a silver medal in both of the categories that we competed it and I'm suuppeerrrr proud of us right now!!!!! It was really a blessing to have been able to spend such a big moment of my life with the people that I love most (aside from my family, 'cause I swear, my friends from school get so annoying sometimes)

GROUND INFO ON MY FANFICS

Alright, so before I start this, you should know that I don't write fanfics too often. It's because for some reason, I get writer's block waaay tooooo easily. Anyway, let's get started with this:

Yaoi and Yuri: I won't normally write this. I can try it every now and then, and most of the stuff I write whenever I have writer's block for my main story that I'm currently writing it will be Yaoi or Yuri. It'll mostly be Yaoi if I do write any.

Dark/Adult aspects: Most of my stories will be devoid of any, but I will imply it sometimes. I try to stay kid-friendly, but a little dark stuff isn't bad, so I'll hint it in a few of my fanfics when I write them.

Character(s) death: I'd like to try to avoid this, but I have a flare for making a character death go a far way. I don't like character death, but most of my stories will have at least one. But for those that don't like gory and gruesome stuff, don't worry, I never include anything like that. Most of it will just have something to do with vital organ failure, and I try to stay out of detail from what's going on. The most I'll do is give a brief, but somewhat detailed, summary on how the character is feeling while they're dying. I'll normally keep the amount of character death at a minimum because I only write a character death if I can find a way to make it crucial to the plot of the story. Otherwise, the story should be completely kid-friendly.

Author Note Dialogues: Sometimes. My first story doesn't have it but I might include it in any future stories. Don't expect me to say anything insulting to certain characters though.

Romance: When I said I had a flare for making a character death go a long way in a story, it's because it stems from this. I have a specialty for romance and drama stories (but I like adventure stories the most, but I'm terrible at making my own type of action and such...) Most of my genres will be about romance or drama. But you should know that when I write about most romance and dramas, it will normally end in tragedy, but sometimes the tragedy may end up in the middle depending on how I want to phrase my story.

Summaries: I'm terrible at these. You should know that my summaries may not always sum up my stories, and sometimes it just outright misleads people. It's because I write the summary before I have the entire storyline thought out. And I change the plot of my stories a lot, and I find it a pain to keep changing my summary to match the story, so not a good idea to think that my summaries are actually what my story will be about.

Ideas: Most of my stories will have ideas that are based off other books, movies, TV shows etc. I will normally morph it into something else, but if you pay close attention, you will notice that it's based off something. I will make up my own ideas and if I don't think it fits, I normally will merge it with something else. So if you think my stories are familiar to you, don't hate.

Foreshadowing: You can expect foreshadowing in almost every one of my stories. I have a knack for foreshadowing, so you need to pay close attention to my stories to really understand the depth of it.

OC(s): I won't normally make my own characters because I suck at making personalities and names and such. But I might add some of my own characters in sometimes, however, it's likely that they won't normally play an important role to the plot. Sorry to those who wanted to see some OCs. :(

Birthday: Valentine's Day...not lying, it's on Valentine's Day, 1997
Gender: Well, I would think it's kinda obvious from my above info, but if you couldn't guess, I'm female
Ethnicity: Japanese and proud :) (but I'm currently located in the US)
Relationship Status: Forever alone...;(

APPEARANCE

Hair: Dark brown hair with natural golden brown highlights; it's really straight and falls to around midback
Eyes: Bright green and bigger than your average Asian (I'm weird...I know that I'm Japanese, but it's possible that I'm mixed. I wouldn't know)
Height: 5'5, or for those who use the metric system, I'm around 165.1 cm (People say that's tall for someone who recently turned 15...yeah, try saying that to my school, everyone is like, at least, three inches (7.62 cm) taller than me...I mean seriously, my 10 year old younger sister is almost as tall as me, and my 13 year old younger sister is as tall as I am...)
Weight: 97 pounds; about 44 kg
Clothes: Well...umm...I have multiple different outfits so ummm...yeah. I basically just wear a T-shirt with guy shorts or if it's winter, I wear a hoodie and sweats...not really into fashion, I kinda just throw on whatever is the first think I get my hands on. I have a few formal outfits for certain occasions, but aside from that, I'm a bit too casual for most girls' likings...
Other: Umm...well, I don't have acne (well not a lot, so it's not very noticeable; there's like a small red dot on my left cheek, but that's it), I have a hourglass structure (well, something like that) but I'm not very developed (this is really awkward telling people what I look like; I shouldn't have gone through with this dare), I have really white teeth (not bleached; I just brush them for like 10 minutes every time I'm done eating) and they're also really straight but I never wore braces so umm...yeah..., I have, like, half-eyebrows (they aren't very noticeable once they start reaching towards their respective sides), I have a small mouth and my lips are sorta thin and they're a really rosy color, I have lopsided dimples (one's higher than the other), I'm sorta on the tan side (probably because it's summer, but I'm normally tanner than most people from my school), and I wear a size 4 shoe...Yes, boom, I'm done with the awkward part now! :)

FAVORITES

Music: All music, except for Heavy Metal and stuff like that; it scares the living daylights outta me (Kelly Clarkson is like my favorite artist of all time)
Books: Umm...not really a book person, but I like the Harry Potter series, and the only other thing that I enjoy reading is fanfiction :)
Movies: Where to start...? I've watched so many movies with my friends, and I loved so many of them. Umm...well my absolute favorites I would say...: Titanic, all the Harry Potter movies, and the Avengers...
TV: Yu-Gi-Oh!, no question, I love the Yu-Gi-Oh! series, all of them...(especially ZEXAL)
Games: Not much of a gamer but...Dang it, I just lost the game...Don't know what the game is? Well aren't you lucky...
Sports: I'm a performing arts person, but I dabble in sports sometimes. I mainly play Soccer and Volleyball, but sometimes Badminton, but aside from that, not much, unless if you call dancing a sport. Some people say it is, but some people say it isn't so I'm super confused on that.

Brother(s): Two brothers (wow...four kids excluding me...my parents need to get a hobby): Chris - age 15 (he's amazing. We sometimes roleplay Yu-Gi-Oh! together, and he's got the same name as V's real name! I call him V sometimes...anyway, he's born in January so he's a month older), and Max - age 21 (just turned 21 in April; he's about to complete his final year in college next year, super proud of you nii-san!)
Pet(s): A dog...his name used to be Prince, but after reading a bunch of Tumblr roleplay blogs, Chris and I changed his name to Toby the Magnificent

I've never gotten an overall grade lower than an A- at around 92%, and I've gotten nothing lower than a 97% on all of my tests...and I've pulled off countless all-nighters and still haven't gotten a project with a grade lower than an 89% - like I said, Jillian murdered my first two laptops - and the fact that I can tell you all this because I saved all of my assignments, report cards, etc. ever since I started 1st grade - we didn't have grades in kindergarten - and I was offered a chance to skip a grade in 3rd and 7th grade)

ZEXAL (this is where most of the fangirl-ness kicks in)

1.) Ryoga Kamishiro (I like Ryoga because he's a very interesting character. I think what I like most about him is his friendship with Yuma. It's shown that, no matter how uncaring he may seem, he really does care about Yuma, as shown in episodes 34, 46, and 62. He's really actually a kind person, but much like the Tron family, he's been through a lot of familial turmoil, so that caused him to become how he was)
2.) IV (ask fangirl "me"...but I think he's an interesting character; he's first shown as a sadistic man with an honorable facade when he's with his fans, but we're shown the depth of his character in episode 58. We see that he's really a good person, but his sadistic personality was born from the pain he's felt, and all the horrible deeds he's done was for the sake of his father. All he really wants is the same as his brothers: for his father to return to normal...I swear, I drown in my tears everytime I watch episode 58)
3.) III (he was my favorite character from his dueling debut, up till episode 58...I kinda just tossed him aside...that's harsh *slaps myself*...Anyway, I think he's super adorable and cute and nice and amazing. I love how he can still stay so optimistic despite all that he's been through, and he's such a poor little baby when he was crying in episode 46. I absolutely love him to death)
4.) Kaito Tenjo (once again...ask fangirl "me." I think the reason why I like Kaito is something about his protectiveness over Haruto. And I think he's a good person, but like the Tron family - specifically IV - he's been through too much for that kindness to show. From that flashback in episode 54, we see that he was willing to save Droite, so I think he's an honorable person at heart)
5.) Droite (it has something to do with the fact that I compared her to the other girls, and then I compared her to the guys. Droite is a really strong and independent woman, something that stems from something people would say is more effeminate. I think she was the first female from the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! universe to be absolutely clear on who she's in love with, and to actually state it. It really hit me hard when I saw her defeated so brutally in episode 54.)

MY TOP 5 OTP's (for each series, and I only know the shipping names for ZEXAL)

Original

1.) Yugi x Anzu (it's dead obvious that Anzu and Yugi are meant to be. I don't care if Yami is in the way, Anzu belongs with Yugi)
2.) Jonouchi x Mai (I can totally see a match between them. And there's like no challenge at all)
3.) Honda x Shizuka (I think Honda is better suited for Shizuka than Ryuji. Honda just seems more like the type to listen and to love her and protect her. That's what I think Shizuka needs: a sensitive guy to be there for her)
4.) Priest Seto x Kisara (it would definitely explain Kaiba's obsession with Blue-Eyes White Dragon...and besides, it's pretty obvious. I wish Kazuki Takahashi didn't cut the backstory behind them...)
5.) Atem x Mana (I have no idea...I think it's something to do with Mana, but yeah...)

GX

1.) Judai x Asuka (look at Yugi x Anzu; replace Yami with Yubel...)
2.) Haou x Yubel (this makes more sense to me. It had something to do with Yubel's past life, how she vowed to protect Haou, who's present incarnation is Judai. However, being an incarnation, I think Judai and Haou are two separate people, like all those incarnations in the original series)
3.) Sho x DMG (I just think Sho's crush on DMG is sooooo adorable!!! :3)
4.) Manjoume x Rei (I couldn't really see a match with Judai x Rei and Manjoume x Asuka, so I kinda just switched it around. Besides, Rei has been shown to have a slight crush on Manjoume...)
5.) Samejima x Tome-san (these elders have definitely shown a lot of hints. I can see a match between the two, but I don't think they are going to get together any time soon...)

1.) Yusei x Aki (OK, it's official, I love all the main pairings...)
2.) Jack x Carly (OK, if you read the reason why I like Droite above, I retract one of the statements...Carly has admitted that she loved Jack, so umm...yeah, and now that I think about it, so has Yubel about Judai...OK, back on topic, both Jack and Carly has admitted that they loved each other in the original version, so you can imagine I hated it when Carly was revived with none of her memories on that whole scene...)
3.) Ushio x Mikage (Ushio obviously has a crush on Mikage...if only she wasn't so preoccupied on Jack, you'll see that Jack is happy with Carly, and that the guy that will love you is right there, working alongside you)
4.) Rua x Ruka (yeah...umm...I feel really wrong that I ship this because I'm against incest - in the real world at least - but I've seen a few subtle hints from both Rua and Ruka - especially Rua - that they're somewhat attracted to each other. But those hints are only in the original version)
5.) Bruno x Sherry (they may not have interacted too much, but I can somewhat see a pairing between the two, and I kinda just ran out of pairings...)

ZEXAL (I think my reasons for this series is a lot better than that previous series...)

1.) Accidentshipping; IV Arclight x Rio Kamishiro (I think this has something to do with my fangirl-ness, but I really like this ship despite the wide age gap. I just think that it was amazing of IV to save Rio from the fire. I know he caused it, but he didn't know that card would cause what happened, much like III when he activated "Angolmois." IV never had any intentions to hurt her; he did everything on Tron's word. It's just the fact that he was willing to save Rio at the risk of his own life was what I thought was so romantic and beautiful. It's just another reason why I like IV, and why I love accidentshipping.)
2.) Anxietyshipping; Kaito x Droite (this is connected to Droite's character. I think it's great that she's such a strong and independent woman, but that strength and independence stems from her love for Kaito. We see the depth of her love for Kaito during her duel with Tron. We see that as long as she has her memories of Kaito, she doesn't need anything else. In fact, the whole reason why she fought Tron was to protect Kaito, at the risk of her own life. We'll look back at accidentshipping, and see that IV was doing the same thing for Rio, so I guess I just really like the noble action of saving a life at risk of your own. Sacrifice, basically. It shows just how much a person loves another, whether it's romantic, familial, or friendship.)
3.) Skyshipping; Yuma x Kotori (this is the first series to have the leading male show hints - you can see the hints between the lines and the meanings - of a crush on a female. And as for Kotori, well, it's pretty obvious she likes him. And Yuma has been shown to care very much for Kotori. Such as in episode 9, Yuma was able to beat Cathy on his own, without the help of Astral because he believed that Kotori was in danger. Cathy even said that even though Yuma was dueling her, he was still thinking about Kotori. I can really see a match between these two, so yeah :))

- OK, so I'm out of rational shippings, so I'm gonna let fangirl "me" take over now...So don't expect good reasons...most of them will be like "because two freakin' hot guys making out would be even hotter than the guys themselves" or something like that -

Disqualifyshipping; IV x Ryoga (OK...umm...well...I'm absolutely obsessed with IV and Ryoga, first of all, but for better reasons - not really - IV and Ryoga really hate each other, so most of me just kinda thinks of something like...I actually have no idea why I like it...I think it might just be that IV and Ryoga actually have really similar personalities, so if you set aside the fact that they hate each other, they might actually get along really well...huh, I guess I don't really ship them as a pairing, but more a friendship...OK, I lied, this reason actually isn't that bad...)
5.) Teaserviceshipping; III x IV (before I list any reasons, I think IV would be seme, but I just put it as III x IV because IV x III just looks weird...I don't know why...and another thing we need to get straight, this ship took forever for me to accept but I eventually realized how much I was obsessed with it, not even sure why...OK now for the reason. I personally think that, even though IV treats III badly most of the time, he really does care for him. This was shown when III lost during his tag duel with him against Kaito and Yuma, and also seen in episode 50 when he defended III from Tron's words. And I have this crazy fantasy that when III and IV were at the orphanage after Byron went missing and Chris - I'm using their real names because this was during the time when they were still known as Byron and Chris - stayed behind with Dr. Faker, IV would always stick up for III whenever he was being picked on, kinda like Kaiba and Mokuba. OK, nevermind, this has nothing to do with yaoi, it seems more like a familial love the way I'm putting it...:P)

TOP 5 ZEXAL EPISODES

1.) Episode 58 - This episode...is the saddest thing I've seen since Titanic... I think what I liked most about it was the backstory behind IV. It was a really dark aspect, but it captures the viewer. Since most of the fandom saw IV as the fanservicy, evil sex god before this episode, it was a big change for most of us to see IV as the victim of his father's return as nothing but a revenge-obsessed child. After returning, Tron was willing to set aside anything for his own revenge, seeing his own sons fall one by one before him and not caring at all. Seeing IV reminiscing upon the times when he was still a kind person, it was so sad. And when we found out the whole story behind Rio's accident, I thought that it really brought out the person that IV truly is. But, my absolute, favorite, part, was when IV was putting his faith into Ryoga. To think that he would put his hope for his father into Ryoga's hands, someone that everyone thought he hated. He apologized for everything that happened, everything that he did on Tron's orders, and he still asks that if Ryoga were to hate someone, hate himself, not Tron. I still cry everytime I watch it.
2.) Episode 64 - Again, this episode is also really sad. This was a dark episode, but it had a lot of meaning. My favorite part was when Kaito lost, and Tron was about to attack him again, Haruto's spirit saved him. I don't think Haruto really died in this episode because we saw that Yuma saved him. I remember back ages ago, Haruto transferred the remainder of his powers to Kaito in his tag duel with against III and IV. I think that power was what exerted all of its strength and protected Kaito. As for the rest of the episode, well, more like both 63 and 64 together...Like I said, it was a dark episode, the torture and all. How Tron was using Haruto as his method of victory. It was all really hard for me to bear, but overall, it was an amazing episode.
3.) Episode 62 - I felt that this episode really moved the plot along. And I found it really touching that Yuma would sacrifice his own safety for Ryoga, and Ryoga did the same at the cost of his life points. And there were those comical moments that I just love. I think that it was nice to explore Yuma and Ryoga's friendship in-depth.
4.) Episode 60 - It was a very comical episode. I was laughing the whole time till the whole Haruto thing. As for that part, I thought that it was very emotional, for both the viewers and Yuma. It was really difficult for me to actually believe that Astral would take whatever path that Yuma chooses with him at the possible cost of himself. And the Ryoga and Tron scene, I thought it was awkward, with the whole sticking his hand into his head and such...But it is a plot element, so umm...yeah...
5.) Episode 49 - I liked episode 49 because it signified the change of heart III had. III is one of my favorite characters of all time, and I was really hit hard when III all of a sudden turned "evil" and such. And I think that this was a major episode about Yuma's friendship with him, you know with all the revive Astral thing and such. I was really glad that III had a change of heart, and his backstory was so sad. This was also the episode that kinda started the whole, "whenever an Arclight brother is defeated in a one on one duel by their main rival, they'll put their faith in that rival and go back home only to fall unconscious" thing. OK, I made that up, but that's how it is, really...
