Underneath the story you know, behind the scenes of Beacon and RWBY, another plot unfolds, running parallel to but never altering the facts. Corporations reach for power, students struggle against their less desirable fates, and devious schemes go unnoticed in the dark... a tale of misfortune, sacrifice, and Resolve unfurls alongside the canon plot, not changing a thing.

It has lived since the beginning. Since before the Dust settled on the world, bringing forth man. It has brought forth countless monsters to combat man and his creations in an attempt to annihilate him completely. But as the years pass, man becomes stronger and wiser, he becomes able to fend off its monsters. And now the creator comes to a realization. It needs an heir.

Remnant. The word left a bad taste in my mouth even now, so many years after I'd woken to find myself in this living nightmare. The strong survived and the weak perished, trampled underfoot by those with the willpower to do what was necessary. My goal, then, was simple: to survive, regardless of the cost. Remnant is shaken by a catastrophic explosion, one causing panic around the globe. Yang decides her teammates need to socialize outside of other hunter teams, ending in the girls realizing their feelings for each other. Unfortunately Weiss' family, and enemies both old and new, may have other plans for the four young women. WhiteRose and Bumbleby pairings. Classic Fluff and Angst with a lemony taste, now with extra Plot.

After getting launched into the forest by the scorpion, Jaune decides he can't let himself be weak anymore. He grows stronger through extensive training, aura manipulation, and a bit of courage. It probably won't flow the cannon RWBY river but hey that's why it is a fanfic. Okay so I know this summary sucks, but I would appreciate a review.

Weiss Schnee, the 'Ice Queen' as most people called her, came to Beacon Academy for many reasons. Not even Weiss herself could have seen what was to come from attending Beacon, meeting Ruby, and how it would impact her life forever. What began as a rocky relationship filled with malice and content, it became molded into a brittle friendship, and then sculpted into a beautiful love.

Life is good for team RWBY. But when they find themselves and other teams under attack by shadowy forces, they'll have to work together to save Beacon's bacon.
