Taking place after the events in the Movie, starting directly after the Gazelle concert, the building feelings they both have to each other come to a head and take an unexpected turn. While mostly a slice of life as Judy and Nick find out more about each other, and try to figure out their relationship, loose ends from the missing mammals case will eventually emerge.

For Judy, it had been another day with Nick, but that all changes in an instant. The surgical room is turned into a battleground for the fox's life. Judy's heart is tormented. She wants to tell Nick how she truly feels about him, but everything hinges upon if the fox survives. And if he does, can he ever walk again? Can two mammals get a happy ending, or will this tear them apart?

An FBI agent requests Judy and Nick's help with what seems to be a pretty straightforward case, before taking a much-needed vacation. Upon their return to the city they find it in a state of panic. Little do they know however, there are the only ones that can make the connections to find out who's responsible.

Nick spent nearly his entire life on the opposite side of the law, so with such a sudden change of sides, he has to readjust to the new setting. But it soon proves more difficult as he endures the graphic crime and violence that comes with his service to the force. Leaving him struggling to keep it all from crumbling apart; his duties now an increasing burden to his state of mind.

After a year on the force, Nick and Judy enjoy their lives and having each other as a best friend. Still, they don't see exactly how much they mean to one another. Until an unexpected stop on a way back home turns into a disaster. With an added bonus for Judy to find out a bit more about Nicks past. And Nick finally realizing what he is missing.

Nick never held much issue with living under a bridge. Sure, it wasn't exactly comfortable living but he had learned to try and content himself with the minimum like he always had. This is my first attempt at writing a fanfic, which I credit entirely to the existence of Zootopia, and from reading all of the wonderful fanfiction out here on the web. (Note: story edited, 1-15-17, almost a month after I first posted it. I think it's better now, but let me know what you think, eh? : )

Nick's transfer to another precinct separates Judy and him for two years until he invites her to a weekend beach trip. Unfortunately, during those two years, Judy has lost the joy she once had due to the harsh realities of her job. With her memories of Nick being the only reliable coping method, she hopes by seeing him again, she will be able to learn how to be happy again.

Judy arrives in Zootopia for her field trip only to be paired up with Gideon Grey, who has no intention of doing as he is told. Judy goes out to find him but soon becomes lost in the sprawling metropolis. However, random acts of kindness from a teenaged pawpsicle hustler may just set the two kits back onto the right path.

Judy may have survived a close shave, but she can't remember the night before. The truth about what happened is surprising and difficult to swallow, especially when a certain fox is involved. Oneshot.

After Nick is injured at work, Bogo sends him and Judy to vacation. As they arrive in Bunnyburrow, Judy begins to think, that his injuries from the case are not only physical. Rated T for some language and violence.
