Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. Hello, I'm Lilian! I'm sure my idea of Harry Potter fanfics aren't everyone's cup of tea. But if you like Skins (An English drama... Watch it!!), then I think you'll love them. They're all about real life drama's that effect Harry and co during thir time at Hogwarts and during their holidays. My fics are usually AU, where Harry is born in 1990. I know it's not a big deal to some people, and I know some people will completely disagree with this (different culture and stuff), but the reason why I have Harry born in 1990, was because that was the year I was born in. I'm not sure of what the teenage culture would be like for someone born in the eighties, and rather than doing it COMPLETELY wrong, I would rather change his date of birth and write about things I know. Another quick point, if people say how Harry and co act in The Birth Scar is unrealistic, please keep that to yourself. I don't know where those people that say that are from. But I am writing from experience of being a teenager, and being around teenagers in the noughties. This is the culture of UK and Ireland. I'm just writing how I see things. (Obviously, not all people are that wild. But keep in mind that there are plenty that are.) A lot of my mini drama plots are based on things that have happened to me, or have happened to someone I have known. So, yes, it is realistic for a teenager to have tried drugs, to have had sex (Whatever you're into yourself) and to be a bit of an ass every now and then. Everyone is once in a while, and Mary-Sue Harry fics are in my opinion, the worst. I am really of the opinion that because Harry and co, in my fics are teenagers in the noughties, and muggle techonologies are incredibly popular in the muggle world, I think Hogwarts students that are not completely pureblood would know a lot about muggle devices, and threfore have them. Please leave reviews. As long as you're not being unnesescarily mean, I do accept criticisms. But remember, if you don't like more adult themes then there's no point even reading, because you're sure to hate it. |
