This fic is called... There's a New Sheriff in Town, but I really wanted to title it (Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy) but that sounded too smexy? It's a Shandy AU story idea. It is set in the Old West but also within the first season of Major Crimes with some dialogue from the show.

It was a problem Sharon needed to solve for herself; to allow the past w/ Jack to control her or to move on in the present w/ Andy and together create a future. (2) Realizing they were both uncomfortable made it easier to move to the next level. (3) Moving through this last stage, they had reached true intimacy. (#Shandy)

A Christmas Shandy I went with the idea from the end of episode 418, of Sharon, Rusty and Gus having Christmas dinner at Andy's daughter, Nicole's house. It's slightly canon but I went above and beyond Duff's slow burn.

The break-up.

Even though they have been dating for almost 6 months now, Sharon and Andy still haven't gone much farther than kissing. The progress of their relationship has stalled since Andy's health issues started. The physical sense of it was actually in regression and Sharon was not sure how she felt about this. Until a heated makeout session caused an unexpected reaction.

An addition to Penalty Phase because there was not enough Shandy. It's a bit naughty. :D
