The name Kite was first given to me in seventh grade by two (one now former) friends. I figured they'd rearranged the letters of my name to get this (Katie-- Kaite.) Turns out they named me after the child's flying toy.

Wolf of Cherry Blossom has signed the rights to "Harry Potter and The Darkness Within" over to me. I have taken this down in order to perform major surgery.
I am in desperate need of a Brit-picker. Someone with experience living in England and familiar with the many idiosyncracies of British English, as I am not, would be very much appreciated. Also, a beta reader would be nice. I may have all four books, plus a bunch of references, but I can only do so much. I regret to inform you all that I will not be posting on ff.n any longer, because it is ticking me off greatly. If you really want to see my work, go to FictionAlley.org and look for "Parin." I won't be up there for a while, though.
I also regret to inform you that the only stories I am planning on writing are my revision for Wolf of Cherry Blossom and the continuation of "The Best of Friends" for Nemesis. After those, I shall retire to the world of beta-reading. I am not likely to change my mind unless a rabid plot bunny bites me. Cheers :)
