The System awakes, and so does Jaune Arc. Of course, one is awakening from an eons long slumber and the other went to bed too late the night before and slept in far too long. The System adjusts to a methodology suitable for a teenage boy, and as such accidentally invokes the god-given right of living a video game. Jaune's in for a wild ride.

Victory can prove bitter, especially when you're the only one alive to see it. With the world in chaos and everyone he ever loved dead, Jaune Arc makes a deal with the devil for one last chance to go back and change it all. But devils don't play by the same rules as humans, and Salem never did say how far back he'd go. Or how much deeper the war between her and Ozpin really went.

Jaune Arc wished to live his own life, a life not in the shadow of the Arc Family but a life where he could make his own choices. In order to escape that shadow, he decided to become a Huntsman. What he did not realize was that while Duty and Desire may not always share the same road they often share the same destination.

Jaune's Semblance has activated and he is about to restart his life, long ago helost track of how many lives he has lived. Though this trip proves to be different, for the first time ever someone has gone back with him. Jaune for the first time is not alone as he prepares to face off against Cinder and her allies with Yang at his back does he finally have a real chance?

What would happen if US Soldiers deployed in Afghanistan ended up on Remnant after an accident occurred on a patrol? Well lets find out shall we? After all. What could possibly go wrong?

The story will cover 4 years of RWBY and JNPR in their time at Beacon starting at volume 2 ep 7's end. Arkos Primary Fic. Cinder never attacks Beacon. A shame then, that his forged documents painted the picture of an accomplished and skilled warrior. Jaune awakens his Semblance in the forest when Pyrrha awakens his Aura. It just so happens that it is reading minds of whoever he is looking at. What comes from such a thing?
