Feel free to make up any armor, spells, weapons, or anything else really. Also, nothing to overpowered, unless you're ok with your character being featured waaaaayyyyyy to the rear end of the story. It's also fine if you want to have different armor and/or weapons traded later on in the story for a better set, or a different weapon, or have your character discover new spells throughout the story (That'll probably be really common XD).
