![]() Author has written 2 stories for Twilight, and Star Wars. I'm a twenty-something college student and reformed literary snob. My solemn vow to never write fanfiction was upended some time ago when I had an interesting dream about the characters of Twilight. (It had to be Twilight. Those Cullens sure do like to jump into people's dreams, don't they?) The dream stuck in my head and I ended up writing the basic plot down. And, well...things snowballed and here I am. While that particular story isn't very good and probably won't ever see the light of day--at least, not for a long, long while--I am working on some other coming attractions. You can look forward to a New Moon AU and a Star Wars AU that takes place shortly after Revenge of the Sith. (When I say AU, I mean a very slight alternate universe. I like to change one thing and see the ripples as a result, but I do try to keep characters as canon as possible.) Honestly, I'm still trying to find a plot in the Star Wars one. But it's getting there! I used to want to be a professional writer, but I figured out long ago that everything I try to write ends up taken. So fanfiction it is! It scratches that creative itch, and it makes me happy. I hope that what you find here makes you happy, too! I'm also on AO3; username: KatrinGalene. My profile picture is called, "Reading in a Garden." It was painted by Pompeo Mariani. It can be found by searching either the title or the artist on the National Gallery of Art website, which is a US database for art in the public domain. The cover photo for North Star is not actually the North Star. It is a star called Zeta Orionis, or Altinak. It was taken by Philipp Salzgeber, and can be found on his website. Suicide.org has a list of international suicide hotlines. Follow the link and dial the corresponding number for your country if you need to talk to someone who can help you. And if you feel you can't talk to anyone else, you can always talk to me. |
