What if John Thornton had been JUST a bit later as he walked past Outwood Station that night?

Story of after the wedding of Elizabeth and Mr Darcy, and their journey into the unknown world of marriage.

Becky meets Darcy. Darcy meets Becky. Darcy insults Becky. Becky pours bright red drink down Darcy's crisp white shirt. They once shared a friendship years ago. Now, they are the extremely young, extremely wealthy young heads of the companies that their late fathers left behind. Will love flourish? Or will even their friendship wither and die under the pressure of family and duty?

This "what if" stems from the 2005 movie and a broad P&P fanfiction presumption. During their conversation at Pemberley, Darcy found out the Gardiners and Elizabeth were traveling to the next day to Matlock. Knowing this, Darcy didn't ask them to meet Georgiana the next day. Instead, he rather wanted Elizabeth to meet his Matlock relations, and happiness ensues.

Lizzie scrolled down her list of contacts. Her finger hovering over Darcy's name, as she fought an inner battle against herself. Should she call him? No, definitely not. You rejected him last winter. In the end, she decided to call Darcy after she realized that she didn't have that many options: call Darcy, or sleep on the streets. It's rated T...for now.

Margaret Hale and John Thornton find their "relationship" the talk of Milton and have no choice but to marry.

Margaret, living in London after the death of her parents, is invited to accompany Mr Bell to Helstone. With high expectations she journeys to her childhood home not realising that her visit would result in an unexpected meeting. A meeting that could prove the most important of her life.
