While Stinger and the Aegis track down the hunter Caine takes Jupiter to the outer rim Galaxy and into hiding so that she can recover and recuperate with him. This gives both of them to spend time together and expand on their relationship.

That did it: all an army had to do was have one of them harm Gaby and said army was dead, because Peril was going to see that none of them lived another day for daring to hurt her. They all had it coming, really, so Napoleon lets the Russian go off the leash to deal some damage. MK has yet again been chosen to save Moonhaven and is the only one who can. She returns to Moonhaven to help during the Final Stand against Mandrake, but the prophecy states she won't survive, can her fate be changed?

M.K. returned to Moonhaven, not long afterwards her and Nod got into a fight and broke up. With heartache M.K. is changing into someone she's not. With an old enemy returning and a forgotten legend that began it all, M.K. must work out how to approach things, especially when a destiny chosen long before she was born reaches her. It takes some unlikely friends to save Moonhaven.
