Poll: Which female character do you ship Link with in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 12 stories for Legend of Zelda. Hello! I'm a twenty-four-year-old woman, a Christian, and an aspiring author. :) This profile is pretty much entirely dedicated to video games. By that, I mean expect mostly Legend of Zelda-related paraphernalia (and by that I mean expect mostly Link/Zelda-related paraphernalia). I love being anonymous, so just call me whatever you like. Some people just call me Trinkets, which is fine by me. I have a Wii, Gamecube, Gameboy Color, Gameboy SP, 3DS, and Wii U as far as gaming systems go, which is why my fandoms are all Nintendo-related. Happy reading! War of the Heart Stuff: This fic is my "magnum opus" of fanfiction, so I hope you like it. I've had the idea for a while, and the backdrop of Hyrule Warriors fits it quite well. If you like music as much as I do, I made a few Spotify playlists to accompany the themes of the story! There's one for Zelda's character, for angst, for love, and even for the baddies in the story.
Fandom: *Legend of Zelda I became fascinated with LoZ ever since my brothers and I got Super Smash Bros. Melee for our Gamecube (I was a 6th/7th grader at the time), and I have literally been shipping Link/Zelda as a result ever since. Reading the booklet that came with the game, I was fascinated by the idea that the princess had disguised herself as a male warrior to hide from evil and help the hero (so Ocarina of Time was, unfortunately, spoiled for me pretty early on! XD ). Imagine my awe when I actually played a game! I played Twilight Princess shortly after, obsessed with these "fantasy elf" characters I always used in Smash Bros. I had difficulty with the Lakebed Temple and actually gave up playing for a while. However, the hype was all too real when Skyward Sword was announced. As a high school student, I checked Nintendo's website for Skyward Sword daily, riveted by the idea of this academy and Link having to rescue his kidnapped love. I received Skyward Sword for Christmas that year. Since I was a senior finishing up school, I would reward myself by allowing myself to play a level of Skyward Sword every weekend. I was utterly obsessed with it. It compelled me to finish Twilight Princess as well, which became the first Zelda game I beat, followed shortly after by Skyward Sword. That same year I also played Ocarina of Time for the 3DS as well as Wind Waker for the Gamecube, beating both of them as well. And there was just never any turning back. I was utterly hooked. So, in short, The Legend of Zelda is easily my favorite video game series, and I'm always up to playing a Zelda game or exploring the fandom. I hope to, one day, have played them all.
