A friendly reunion brings the expanded Team Avatar together again in Omashu five years after the defeat of Firelord Ozai. Determined to make the long journey one of self-discovery and exploration, Toph takes a break from teaching and sets off on foot for Omashu. Her quest inward, however, is unexpectedly lead astray when she reunites with an old friend.
