AU "Doomsday." Trapped in Pete's World, Rose and the Doctor attempt to find their way back to the TARDIS while navigating Torchwood, meddling family members, and as per usual threats to humanity.

The meta-crisis Doctor finds his purpose from an unlikely source. Tired of living with the burden of guilt, he resolves to try and find a way back to the universe of his making and fix the aftermath of his tenth incarnation. The result is a voyage of reconciliation and self-discovery across two universes.

The new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher goes by the name of the Doctor. Rose Tyler, a Seventh Year Gryffindor, has no idea what to do with her life. (Does it need saying? This is AU.)

Also, this takes place in my All Roads Lead Home universe and as such is compliant with THAT canon and not Doctor Who canon in general. Chronologically this takes place during the later chapters of TLAWR but before my 'Waters of Mars' rewrite.
