![]() Author has written 19 stories for Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, and Once Upon a Time.
My Dear Readers, I must thank you for visiting my profile, and for reading my work. I’ve discovered a lot of talent and many wonderful stories here. I’ve even made a few friends in my visits to this site over the years. Writing is one of my passions – along with singing and acting. I have a degree in theatre and I would’ve liked to fit in a double major with creative writing. Writing is the only thing I’ve ever been told I was good at. I’ve been pouring out stories and characters since I could hold a pencil. The first story I remember writing was in kindergarten class. I think it was about a rabbit. Of course it was probably only a paragraph long, but we all must start somewhere, right? My visits to this site come in waves. Sometimes I don’t visit here at all, and other times, I’m checking it several times a day. I visit a lot when I’m looking for stories to satisfy my craving for more. Sometimes I’m not satisfied with the ending of a story, or I’d like to see the scenes that aren’t written or shown in the movie. That’s why I love fanfiction. What happened between “Something Good” and the wedding scene in The Sound of Music? What was Maria and Captain Von Trapp’s engagement like? Fanfiction can satisfy that. Anything can happen here. Endless possibilities, you just have to find the right story – the one that satisfies what you wish would happen. What do I write, you ask? I’ve written a few Sound of Music stories, and a TON of Mary Poppins stories. I’m currently obsessed with Once Upon a Time, and I’ve been writing in this fandom. I’ve written a Sweeney Todd fic, but that probably won’t be posted anywhere except on my Lucy Barker roleplay blog, unless someone begs. Other works in progress: Miss Marple – Nemesis (2007) (although that one is probably finished), The Phantom of the Opera (very AU), Moulin Rouge. I read fanfics for Once Upon a Time, Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, Star Wars, Broadway musicals, Beauty and the Beast, and other fairy tales. I ship Mary Poppins/Bert big time. I love to see other writers’ theories on how they could get together. Regina Mills/The Evil Queen/Queen Regina is my favorite character on Once Upon a Time. I don’t just write fanfiction. One of my dreams is to become a published young adult fantasy writer. I write original fairy tales, and I would love to get them published together as one book. I have about seven short stories that would fit into this book, although some are just ideas or works in progress. I once wrote a musical – well the script to one, and I need to find a composer and lyricist, because it’s one of my goals to see that show on Broadway. We did a trial run of this show at my college and it was so surreal to see my characters that had been in my head for almost 10 years come to life onstage. It’s my masterpiece and I’ll keep working on it until it’s perfect. I’m also working on the novelization. Ships: Outlaw Queen (Regina/Robin Hood), Stable Queen (Regina/Daniel), Snowing (Snow White/Prince Charming), Hooked Queen (Regina/Captain Hook), Regal Cricket (Regina/Archie Hopper), Mary/Bert, Maria/Georg, Sweeney Todd/Lucy Barker (and Sweeney Todd/Mrs. Lovett in some situations), Christine/The Phantom AND Christine/Raoul, Satine/Christian, Millie/Jimmy, Jo March/Fritz Bhaer, Eponine/Marius. I do not read Harry Potter fanfiction. J.K. Rowling’s world is perfect as it is, and no writer can touch it. Therefore, all of my ships are canon. Except, Neville/Luna and Bellatrix/Voldemort. I love Harry Potter more than I can say though. J.K. Rowling is my writing inspiration. A little bit about me: Favorite musicals– Mary Poppins, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Little Women, The Drowsy Chaperone, Shrek, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Evita, The Lord of the Rings, Sweeney Todd, Anything Goes, Into the Woods, A Little Night Music, South Pacific, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, Once On This Island, Kiss Me Kate, My Fair Lady, Hairspray, Wicked, Gypsy, Nice Work if You Can Get It. Favorite movies– The Sound of Music, Harry Potter, The Phantom of the Opera, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Hairspray, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Goddess, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, Brave, Darling Lili, Star!, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Down With Love, Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, Cold Mountain. Inspirations– Laura Michelle Kelly, Lana Parrilla, Ginnifer Goodwin, Sutton Foster, Julie Andrews, Ashley Brown, Sierra Boggess, Caroline Sheen, Kelli O’Hara, J.K. Rowling. Favorite TV shows- ONCE UPON A TIME, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, How I Met Your Mother, SMASH, The Big Bang Theory. Anything starring Lana Parrilla, so especially Swingtown and Miami Medical. Currently working my way through Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey. Favorite books – Harry Potter is the greatest literary creation ever. Also like The Hunger Games, The Da Vinci Code and The Princess Diaries. I love retellings of fairy tales, especially Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella. I also love Home, A Memoir of My Early Years by Julie Andrews. Please read and review! |
