Set in the world of the Mamoru Oshii film of the same name. Not following the exact storyline of the film. 02/08/2008 - I have a few more chapters of this story typed out on my computer and will be uploading it soon, but will more than likely not finish it. I'm pretty much done with fanfiction.

Squall Leonhart is a divorce lawyer with a successful practice and not much else, everything he touches seems to fall apart in his hands and just as he is sure his life can't get any worse he receives notice from his estranged father that his older brother Nida (the golden boy in the family) has been murdered. Squall returns home for the funeral, planning to only stay a few days but his stay is extended and his life turned on it's side when Nida's lover, a passionate artist named Zell Dincht, is accused of his murder.
