How I came up with the name: I was only 9 when I first played Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction ( I was 7 when it came out) and I couldn't read that well and I thought it was called Tools Of Destiny (It is kind of a good name for it though...)

Imagine you're a hero, everyone depends on you to save the galaxy when it's in danger because of that one time you saved the universe. And then it ends in a blink of an eye. That's what happened to Ratchet. Lost on a human world, he's been tasked with destroying the Lost Hero. Ratchet now has to live a lie and stop Earth being obliterated because of his secret.

Under these Lies was my very first fanfic. Originally called Together, I began this story at the very tender age of 14. I had no outline and just wrote whatever came to mind which led to short chapters, plot holes galore and too many instances of writer's block. It grew popular but my joy for writing it... went away.

Several years have passed now and I feel ready to return to this world, my story and Team Echo. So, back with improvements, better grammar and an extremely low chance of writer's block I can officially declare that UNDER THESE LIES WILL RETURN.

ANNIE GREEN

When Fastoon fell and the Lombaxes fled, Annie and her twin brother were sent to safety on a planet in the Bogon Galaxy. However, their pod got knocked off course and they went through a wormhole that took them to Earth. There they began a new life with the remaining Lombaxes. Annie discovered a love for science on this planet and soon became one of the best scientists A.E.P.O has. Annie will always fight for what's right and is known for her fierce loyalty. Never get on the wrong side of this Lombax.

ERIK LEROUX

Erik was 10 years old when Tachyon attacked, his father was killed very early in the downfall of Fastoon and he had no idea what happened to his mother, nor did he want to know. He believed it was best for him and his two younger sisters to not go through to the other dimension with the other Lombaxes and instead, hide in their home galaxy. However, the pod that was supposed to take him, his sister and his half-sister to a different planet was sucked into a wormhole, the same one that took the Green twins away. Here he and his sisters found a new life but their new lives aren't easy. Erik, like his father, has a passion for medicine and helping people and this encouraged Erik to be a doctor like his father.

Eve was 6 when her brother took her and her little sister to somewhere safe, away from the Lombaxes downfall. On this planet she began a normal life with her family and someone she loves dearly. That was until her little sister was kidnapped. She sacrifices everything to save her. But at what cost? She has a device installed in her that makes her be able to shoot energy out her hands that could either knock out a person or kill them instantly. Eve is forced to serve the head of DESTORY, Sam Ceres, and is forced to work against the Lombaxes.

MICHAEL GREEN

Michael Green escaped with his twin sister when Tachyon attacked. Michael always knew he wasn't the only Lombax in the universe, he just didn't know how many were out there. Michael spent the remainder of his childhood in the A.E.P.O training facility before graduating with flying colours. Michael worked alongside the remaining Lombaxes and his best friend, Christine West, for years. He was protective of his twin, Annie, his friends and Eve, the woman he loved. However, he was never able to be truly happy as life would constantly try to bring him down. Though trying to work through his own issues, Micheal is the fearless leader of Team Echo.

KATHERYN LEROUX-ZOLOMON

Katheryn does not know much about herself or her past. Originally the youngest of Team Echo, Katheryn is the one mystery they are yet to solve. Born after Erik and Eve's mother left them, she is yet to discover who her birth father is. Her only evidence of him was the powers she has. Between being able to shoot some form of energy from her hands that even top scientists can't explain as well as her own super strength and near-invulnerability, it is quite clear she is not all Lombax despite looking like one. Though at first she was afraid of them, now Katheryn uses them whenever she can to save whoever she needs to. Raised by Erik, she is protective of him and Team Echo.

Although she is not officially a member of Team Echo, Christine lends a hand whenever she can. From the planet Terra herself, she works with the police as a member of their CSI team. When both her parents were killed in a freak accident when she was only ten, A.E.P.O took her in due to her witness of the freak accident which they believe to be alien. At least, that's what they tell her. But there is also something in Christine, something that even she is yet to discover. A confidant for the Lombaxes, she assists them with information on missions and isn't afraid to throw herself into danger if needed.
