The Empire and the Revolution are engaged in a blood filled war. Innocent lives are lost in the process. When that happens a powerful individual emerges from the shadows to stop it all seeking to find peace within the empire. But with an almost unobtainable purpose in sight, he finds himself face to face with his destiny. However, this destiny seems to be the one that chose him.

Takes place 18 months after Lubbock's death. The revolutionary army is in shambles as the empire is finally quelling the rebellion. Tatsumi is living under Esdese's protection, having accepted her offer back then. Trying to destroy the empire from the inside by sectretly sowing seeds of internal conflict while hiding behind it's strongest general. Rated M for gore,lemons,violence.

In the Empire, those in power oppress those without power. In this time, the assassins of Night Raid do battle with those who defend the Empire. However, when an evil from the Empire's past reemerges from the shadows; it lead to both sides either fighting a three way bout or working together to combat this enemy. Rated M for Lemon elements, nightmarish imagery, etc.

What would have happened if Esdeath risked her life to save Tatsumi on the island? Would he still abandon her or would he stick with her and try to get her to change sides while trying to figure out his feelings for her? Will their love suceed or is it destined to fail?
