Martina encounters Joey in unusual circumstances.

Liverpool, December 2015. Thanks to Roxy, Martina and Joey face a reckoning in their relationship. This is set in the Red Circle AU but 27 years after the last chapter. Disclaimer – I don't own bread.

Set sometime between series 3 and 4, then AU although including some series 4 canon events. Mainly from Joey's POV in which he struggles with his family, his responsibilities, and the paternity of Roxy's offspring. A certain DHSS counter clerk both eases and complicates his life. As ever I don't own Bread.

A dodgy deal, a disco, flashing blue lights, and a chance meeting add up to a bit of Joetina. Some mild language, implied potential sexual activity.

Joey plans a romantic treat for Martina

I wanted to write a story completely from Martina's perspective, and this is my attempt. I'm sorry it's late as I intended to put it up on 2nd. I could make excuses but really I just lack self-discipline. Martina finds herself, like lots of us, utterly confused about what it is she actually wants.
