"Light isn't always good, since it shines down on you and excentriates all of your flaws... But the darkness, it hides your flaws, as well as your beauty, and threatens to swollow you whole."

"Its just this way that I love you, kill you..."

I believe that the way people live their lives, what they listen to, what they like, what they say, those things all speak much more than whatever that person might have to say bout themselves, so I am including a few cough or more cough of my favorite quotes. As you can probably tell, I seem to enjoy gothic/emo quotes, and a lot of the music i listen to is likewise, but Im still me no matter what, and also, funnilly enough, im the last person my friends would call goth or emo _.

My mother, she killed me,
My father, he ate me,
My sister Marlene,
Gathered all my bones,
Tied them in a silken scarf,
Laid them beneath the juniper tree,
Tweet, tweet, what a beautiful bird am I.

"Who killed Cock Robin?" "I," said the Sparrow,
"With my bow and arrow, I killed Cock Robin."
"Who saw him die?" "I," said the Fly,
"With my little eye, I saw him die."
"Who caught his blood?" "I," said the Fish,
"With my little dish, I caught his blood."
"Who'll make the shroud?" "I," said the Beetle,
"With my thread and needle, I'll make the shroud."
"Who'll dig his grave?" "I," said the Owl,
"With my pick and shovel, I'll dig his grave."
"Who'll be the parson?" "I," said the Rook,
"With my little book, I'll be the parson."
"Who'll be the clerk?" "I," said the Lark,
"If it's not in the dark, I'll be the clerk."
"Who'll carry the link?" "I," said the Linnet,
"I'll fetch it in a minute, I'll carry the link."
"Who'll be chief mourner?" "I," said the Dove,
"I mourn for my love, I'll be chief mourner."
"Who'll carry the coffin?" "I," said the Kite,
"If it's not through the night, I'll carry the coffin."
"Who'll bear the pall? "We," said the Wren,
"Both the cock and the hen, we'll bear the pall."
"Who'll sing a psalm?" "I," said the Thrush,
"As she sat on a bush, I'll sing a psalm."
"Who'll toll the bell?" "I," said the bull,
"Because I can pull, I'll toll the bell."
All the birds of the air fell a-sighing and a-sobbing,
When they heard the bell toll for poor Cock Robin.

My friends and I used to sing this rhyme. I would always fight for the Narrorator part of it, because i got to sing the most, and I used to have a good voice (due to an incedent last year, i unfourtunately killed my voice, and now it sounds completely gravely, always.).

"Girls

are like apples

on trees. The best ones

are at the top of the tree.

The boys don't want to reach

for the good ones because they

are afraid of falling and getting hurt.

Instead, they get the rotten apples

from the ground that aren't as good,

but easy. So the apples up top think

something wrong with them when in

reality they're amazing. They just

have to wait for the right boy to

come along, the one who's

brave enough to

climb all

the way

to the top of the tree."

I love that quote _ its so sweet (so far- emo/goth/romantic/singer girl kinda sums it up)

Lizzie Borden took and axe
Gave her mother 40 whacks,
When she saw what she had done
She gave her father 41.

When good King Arthur ruled his land
He was a goodly king;
He stole three pecks of barley meal
To make a bag-pudding.

A bag-pudding the king did make,
And stuff'd it well with plums;
And in it put great lumps of fat,
As big as my two thumbs.

The king and queen did eat thereof,
And noblemen beside;
And what they could not eat that night,
The queen next morning fried.

On a completely unrelated note- I am (unfourtunately, and though i am female) addicted to Yaoi, lemon style :') cant help it, so i gotta live with it, and so do my friends
