Hiraga Saito is a fleshed out character. Louise Françoise isn't happily whipping people. The summoning ritual does precisely what it says on the tin, summoning creature to be branded and then enslaved by the influence of the mark. There is nothing happy about it. Familiar of Zero, with 'For The Laughs' removed. How bleak are things, really?

Sixth year fic. Examines H/Hr in context of his unwanted wealth and fame, and her need for independence. H struggles for magical control over a mysterious, powerful fifth element, receives an inheritance and has a dalliance that ends in disaster.

It always seemed really suspicious to me how easily Team RWBY and Team JNPR managed to get paired up with extremely compatible partners despite how random the team selections actually were. This is my short theory to how the teams were actually created.

In a bit of an AU situation, Harry uses a time turner to go back and save his parents from dying. But he ends up too far back, and gets stuck in the Hogwarts of the 1970s  alongside his teenage parents.
