It is not until Ranma realizes how happy 'her' future self is that she truly appreciates the sinister nature of the curse. Ranma despairs at the understanding that he is seeing a happiness he can never have... but can she?

Ranma has found a cure, but things didn't go as he assumed. Now he's got to learn to cope while also dealing with his past. Can he manage?

He had vowed to make Ranma's life a living hell for what he had put him through, but life saw fit to step in and do it for him. For there was nothing worse than losing yourself, he'd been doing it his whole life. But unlike him, Ranma didn't have the luxury of knowing that eventually you would find your way back.
