if youre curious about what was supposed to happen:

turns out kusakabe and many disciplinary committee (dc) members attend voice training as well because they wanna sing that namimori middle anthem real good for hibari (and possibly are the choir club) and thats where poor dumb tsuna recognizes kusakabe from. they overheard tsuna complaining about nezu, and did a background check on him (probably illegal channels considering how fast it got done). tsuna doesnt find this out till after the singing contest

singing competition happens. hibari shows up to make sure dc doesnt shame namimori. recognizes tsuna as namimori middle student, and being a kind and caring philanthropist, he forces tsuna to join the choir club/dc.

from there it gets pretty gay

the end.

fun fact: this is an au without reborn because the ninth's kids survive. therefore the varia/future/etc. arcs dont happen.

lal is actually Tsuna's teacher on the behest of shitty dad, to make tsuna less of a wimp. it only slightly works.

gokudera shows up because iemitsu is all, MY SON DESERVES A GREAT PIANIST TO GO WITH HIS SINGING CAREER. nagi shows up too, also getting voice training because her shit parents want her to be a well-rounded woman they can easily marry off for political power. yamamoto becomes Tsuna's friend because he sounds like fun, same with kyoko and ryohei.
