![]() Author has written 5 stories for Brave, 2012, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Star Wars. Why write?
Where to find the time?
Kudos to all the artists of every medium. You're brilliant. Yes, you. My favorites? Adventure, romance, suspense, and humor, all wrapped up in an engaging, lose-yourself-to-the-world story ... That makes me squeeingly happy. Because daily life has enough tragedy for one existence, thankyouverymuch. Lost my soul some time ago to tumblr; please notify if seen. On a more personal note, I'm a working mom caught in the lovely Sandwich generation, so while writing gives me a chance to be far, far away from it all, spare moments usually consist of lunch breaks, late nights, bank lines, and the occasional red light. With much appreciation to the writers, the readers, and to fanfiction.net itself, —Sildae The Star Wars 'verses: —Causatum—
The Causatum ‘verse starts directly at the end of S5 of The Clone Wars series. It attempts to sidle up to canon…and then stab it in the back like any self-respecting denizen of Coruscant’s underworld. Consists of five works; will probably not follow Star Wars Rebels, because of the obvious (as in they’re airing new episodes now, and I’m not psychic).
Oneshots and side-series of the Causatum ‘verse:
—Catalysis— The Catalysis 'verse, despite first appearances, takes on the question of what happened to Mandalore, once Maul was dragged from its throne and the ashes were gathered up by the Republic. After all, Dave Filoni’s sketches must be pondered…
Others, non-Star Wars: The Bow and the Stone — DisneyPixar's Brave fic; consists of a trilogy. On hiatus until I get a chance to watch the movie again without my kiddo around. Odd, yes — but apparently his nightmare about the bear was a lasting one. By lasting... Two years later and he still refuses to have anything to do with the movie and/or bears. Go fig. |
