On the Jackie Chan Adventures archive, there was a time when there was almost nothing but poorly written romance, shipping, and bad action fics. It was a dark time. Then, two writers decided to rebel against this travesty and suddenly, there was decent material. Soon, they gathered more like minds, writers and fans alike, coming together from all over to contribute. Dark Jade was born. And so, a new wave of stories, all centered around the heel-face turn of the half-pint tyke. And yet...there was still so much missing. So many more stories left untold, tales unsung. Basically, there's not enough fics for people who aren't the Chan's, the adults of the J Team, or Sorcerers who aren't named Shendu, Bai Tza, and Hsi Wu. Where's the love for all those other snowflakes of the JCA Universe? Where's Captain Black? Paco? Drew? The Enforcers? Hak Foo? Even Daolon Wong doesn't get enough credit

I hate my life and I hate myself, everyone else hates me too. I have no friends, and no true family. All I'm forced to do is work my ass off. No one likes me for who I am, only for what style of clothes, hair, shoes, and color, I have on. I want to end all the misery my sister causes me. I want to die, I want to say good-bye to all the pain, but something inside me tells me to keep fighting. That something inside telling me to not die, is hope.

Do you have hope? Do abused children have hope? Do abused marriages have hope? Do animals have hope?
