Author has written 4 stories for My Little Pony. I am a writer but not of fanfiction, I've always found it difficult to work with character's other people have created, and given the fact that I have created so many characters in my own head and left them unused, I feel like they deserve to be introduced to the world before I work on characters that have already had their first breath of air. I'm a HUGE fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender, one of the first great american animations to grace us since Exosquad and Transformers (all of them up to and including Beast Wars: Cybertron, nothing past that though). I've read quite a Naruto Fanfics as well, I like Anime but its more of something I've enjoyed in phases rather than a lifelong enjoyment since most of them have fairly predictable and uniform themes like individuality, standing up for yourself, relying on your friends, etc... while the aforementioned shows have dealt with much grittier matters, not to say the themes in Anime are bad, not at all, I'm a huge fan of Sasori and Gaara as the coolest characters ever presented to anime, and the manga's Bartender and Angel Densetsu I have read through several times each, its just that Avatar, which dealt with warfare, greed, and the balance of the world, in both the physical and the spiritual, the fact that the Avatar, a twelve year old stood up to his responsibility and saved everyone, and his friends, fought their own battles, young as they were, and dealt with a psychotic princess, truly psychotic if you saw the finale. Exosquad dealth with racism, and the atrocities of war, of the things people do to each other for the worst of reasons, of the camaraderie of soldiers who rely on each other and on a regular basis put their lives in the hands of their companions. And transformers as a true example of the best of the best of pulp science fiction, a story on a grand and epic scale, a civil war millenia old waged between two factions of living robots from across the universe. So anyways I write mostly stories set in a place called Suicide City, no its not as depressing as it sounds, in a word its a place where people go when they need to start over, your old life die's when you come here, your old name die's, and you start over. Anyways I might start posting it up on my DA. |
