If you like the canon portrayals of characters, awesome. I do too. You want to read about those canon portrayals? Go reread the book/rewatch the movie or show. Or find the authors who write canon-typical characters.

I don't. I write fanon-typical characters. Headcanon-typical characters. Maybe in your eyes I'm 'defiling' the characters, but in mine I'm just writing crack. Maybe you don't find my ideas original. That's okay! They aren't! The thing about cliches is that they're fun. That's why they're cliches.

I have not been writing for very long and I have a lot to learn. I accept that, as well as any constructive criticism you may have. Also? If you have a criticism, please send it to me via an account name. That way I can address your issues directly, instead of like this. To be honest, using a guest account is like sending anonymous messages. If you're doing it to spread nice words, well, okay, fine. If you're doing it to criticize or be rude, it's cowardly. Maybe I wrote something wrong. Maybe what you had to say addresses a specific issue in a fic of mine. I don't want to have to explain that in the BBC show Sherlock, Lestrade is on the outs with his wife, and therefore in the parallel universe my fic clearly lives in, he could be divorced.

One final thing:

Doesn't have to make sense. Other people just have to like it. And they do.
