Han Solo is leaving Hoth to pay of Jabba, and Leia is mad for reasons that she refuses to admit, especially to the man in question, and she reflects on the nature of her relationship with Han, on his devotion to her and on the turmoil it has caused her to fall for him, and once again having something to lose. In Part 2 we get the nerfherder's perspective.

Sir Percy Blakeney left England for France to let the scandal of his broken engagement blow over, but when he meets Marguerite St Just it does not take long before he finds himself helplessly in love. This is his confession, a letter written to his dearest friend, sir Andrew Ffoulkes, in the fall of 1788.

This takes place at the end of Eldorado. Percy and Marguerite have finally escaped their enemies, but the hell they have been through the last weeks cannot simply be forgotten. I love Eldorado, because here we get to see Percy imprisoned, tortured and vulnerable, almost defeated but striking back from the brink of death to get his victory, saving both his own life and his honor.

Percy bids farewell to Chauvelin who awaits his death. Takes place after the fall of the republic.

Percy returns home to Marguerite after the events of I will repay, and they talk about the nature of love.

This story is inspired by a passage in The life and exploits of the Scarlet Pimpernel in which we can read that Percy did not bear to see innocents suffer, whether they were humans or animals. The Scarlet Pimpernel to the rescue!

Percy and Marguerite meet again after he has returned home from his travels in the Orient. No longer able to hold back his feelings, he declares his love for her. But does she love him back, or will he continue to suffer from the pain of unrequited love?

Percy and Marguerite's son is finally born. Percy states that he is the only one who will ever be allowed to throw up on his cravat, and the statement leads to a discussion that reveals some new things about our beloved characters.
