Things will start to shake up when Tris' mother decides she needs more social interaction, introducing her to the mysterious, and older man 'Four'. However, life always seems to get worse before it gets better. Modern day.

"You want to recruit me?" Tris asked, partly dazed, partly incredulous. Dauntless, a top secret organisation, specialising in hand picking and training recruits to be secret, special agents. Beatrice 'Tris' Prior has been selected for their new recruit class. Modern AU. Eventually Four/Tris. A similar, yet different exploration of Divergent. Appearances from many known characters.

Every conversation they had about kids ended in his saying 'someday, maybe' and really meaning 'no', and her nodding in agreement in a vague sort of way. But Tobias didn't miss the times Tris looked at Zeke's daughter like she was trying to imagine her with deep blue eyes and dirty blonde hair when she thought no one was looking.

Set in present day Chicago Tris is a 20 year girl in an abusive relationship till she meets a young cop named four who wants to try to save her from her abusive relationship. We will he be able to win her trust and save her?
