After over a half decade at Shibusen, Soul is finally returning home to attend his brother's wedding, bringing his meister with him for moral support. When a misunderstanding forces Soul and Maka to pretend they are in a different sort of partnership, will it lead to fate or folly?

Post Manga. *Warning: May contain spoilers for those who have not read the manga* Soul has officially became Kid's Death Scythe. It's been a while - Years - since Soul and Maka were reunited. So, Soul decides to go see her once again. But who knew being brought back together, would lead to so many new feelings and dangers...

Something's up with Soul and Maka's resonance, and Soul is pretty sure he knows the cause, though he'll never admit it. A potential solution: hybrid resonance, transmitting their energy (and communication ability) through a third person. But when you might very possibly have feelings for your partner, and you don't want anyone to know, it's never safe to have anyone in the middle.

Soul hates the library, but he loves naps. Unfortunately, Maka needs a very specific book, and he's in the way.

A story in which Maka and Soul learn about "grown up" things. It will be considered complete when I've decided they've grown up enough.

How Soul gets Maka to trust him (being male and all)? All of the characters getting used to their school. Watching them adjust to the new surroundings and new people.

There comes a time in every relationship where it must evolve or simply fade away. It's a difficult process and one that Soul and Maka have been able to avoid for longer than most, but all relationships lead to this crossroad.

Soul and Maka try to undergo another session with Stein and his emotion amplifying candles. It results in an honesty hour that neither was quite expecting at the time. Shameless Soma lemon.

The term 'partner' has a rather wide range of meanings from associate to friend to significant other. I thought that was rather clear and couldn't possibly complicate all those different meanings in my relationship with Soul. Oh how wrong I was.
