This is a profile, it sure is.

I like to write Yuri stories, mostly. I enjoy stories where characters experience some kind of personal transformation, so that's what I write about. The abstract messages that I weave into them are sometimes heavy-handed, so please forgive me.

So far, I have a couple of one-shots and one novel-length story, Metamorphosis (which is now complete), all of which are based in the Maria-sama ga Miteru universe. This longer one deals mainly with Satou Sei and two relationships that she develops which challenge some demons that she had harbored inside since her ill-fated romance with Shiori (The Forest of Thorns). It's also an exploration of the queer nature of the soeur relationships, and how they buck social norms while still paradoxically becoming their own confining boxes.

If you have any suggestions for other Yuri series that I could try out, let me know, too. Right now I'm on a Marimite kick, but I'd like to branch out.
