Author has written 8 stories for Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy VIII, and Final Fantasy X.

[UPDATE: I'm still here! I promise. My stories are not dead, just on hiatus. I will be back soon!

Hey! Let me just start off by saying I'm new to writing fanfictions, so I may not be very good at it. I'm definitely not new to writing, just writing stories like this. I'll try, but that's all I can guarantee. I am very well aware I tend to repeat myself when writing (using the same words over and over to describe an emotion or mood in a story) and I apologize for that. Due to what I said prior to this, I don't really know many other ways to do so and I'm sorry. I'm doing what I can, but I will welcome any tips and advice on how to improve on this. I've only ever written short stories (we're talking, like...30 pages, max), so that's one reason why my stories are so short. I'm hoping to find ways to make them longer. I'd like to know I can write a 50 chapter story, but I guess we'll see how things go.

My username, RadiantKeybladeFantasy, comes from three of my favorite video games by the way:

"Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn", "Kingdom Hearts" (the keyblade), and of course, "Final Fantasy". I'm always trying to think of interesting and cool usernames. Oh! And, just a quick warning...my stories may have a tendency to go a little "over the edge" because sometimes I get a little too excited about what I'm writing. I'm sorry if that ever happens and I'll try to stay in the lines of believable and sane, lol.

FACTS ABOUT ME:

I'm REALLY into those ever-popular, renowned "hero tales" where the guy has to save the girl! Something about that is just cool and fun to me - and, honestly...I think it's one of the best ideas out there! It really shows you exactly how much two people mean to each other and I find it to be like, the ultimate climax to a film or story. It's exciting, fun - and the ways that it happens are always changing, so it never really gets old! Those are the kind of stories I like reading about and have always written, so you might see that at some point in at least a few of mine - just another "heads up"!

People call me a romantic or whatever, but that's just the kind of thing I like. Call it cheesy - I don't care. I'll still call it who I am.

Kingdom Hearts

Final Fantasy

Legend of Dragoon

Devil May Cry

Play any of those games, and you'll see that they have one thing in common, at some point, even briefly.

Squall Leonhart is my favorite Final Fantasy hero (recently beat out Tidus, lol), so I'm probably going to write mostly FFVIII stories for this reason. Not to mention, he and Rinoa are an amazing pair! I think Final Fantasy VIII is one of the best and most fun games out there! It has a little bit of everything in it: action, adventure, magic, love, etc. - it's so perfect! Besides, even though it's a game, it shows that opposites really DO attract, people will do anything for love, and even the most unlikely person can become a hero everyone can rely on. Squall fits everything I've said up to this point PERFECTLY, so you can see why he's my favorite. Say and think what you will, but SE really came through on that one!

My stories are inspired from games I've played and movies I've seen and enjoy. I take the plot of those and twist them somewhat to come up with my ideas - throwing in my own flare to create, what I hope, to be an interesting plot that will keep readers enticed. This may, and probably will, lead to seemingly odd events at some point (you know, the kind that makes you think "what the-?!"), but that's what I'm used to writing. I think, and hope, that as long as I can pull it off, I'm not doing anything TOTALLY farfetched. If you enjoy my stories, great! Thanks! If not, don't read 'em. Simple as that.

I don't normally read fanfiction because I find them MUCH more fun to write. However, I will make exceptions for a friend, by request, or if I find one I am simply enthralled by.

I am a MAJOR fan of the SquallxRinoa pairing, so most of my stories will be about them.

I'm a fan of the following couples in FF history:

Canon - SquallxRinoa, YunaxTidus, CloudxTifa

Crack (all my own pairings) - Zack FairxRinoa Heartilly, Locke ColexGarnet, Tifa LockhartxLoz, Terra BranfordxTidus, Lightning FarronxFirion

That being said, the only Final Fantasy games I am familiar with are VIII, X, X-2, XIII, and XIII-2. I know VII, IX and XII, but VERY little - so, my stories will mostly revolve around the former. Any other FF characters I am familiar with, I have learned about through Dissidia...and I know those games don't exactly give you the best ideas about their persona and such.

UPDATES:

"Into The Fire" - New chapter coming soon!

To my readers/reviewers: you all have so much patience, and it is always much appreciated. Thank you!

UPCOMING STORIES: (Not in order of production)

Final Fantasy VIII:

"Something Borrowed" - A SquallxRinoa One-shot. Definite "fluff".

"A Bullet In Time" - A "whodunnit" of sorts

"Criss-Crossed" - (Working Title) - - Apparently the idea for this story is way overdone, but I don't care. I've never written a story with this concept in mind, so I want to try it for myself now.

"Rewind" - (Working Title)

*I actually intend for at least one of four of the titles to change. For now though, those are all I could think of, so...yeah. Hopefully I can be a little more creative when I go to write them.*

Dissidia: The 11th Cycle - This is a rewrite of my "Dissidia 011: Undecim" story. 5 of the 6 characters I originally included will return and the story will be much different. I made it reflect 012's way more than intended and I hope to make up for that with a stronger story on a real 11th cycle this time.

Dead or Alive - Yeah, okay, nothing really in mind right now, except maybe a story on the 6th DOA tournament. However, I really like these games, so I am interested in writing a story pertaining to the franchise. I guess we'll see how things go.

Kingdom Hearts - Two more stories that are slowly developing. I originally started off with the intention to do a KH fanfic, but eventually went the Final Fantasy route. Now, scrapping all of my old KH ideas, I think I may be able to stick to at least one.

Legend of Zelda - Yep! And, now, I'm slowly beginning to develop an idea for a Zelda tale, too. Of course, it won't happen for a while now - but, I love these games, so here's to hoping it works out!

Fire Emblem: Awakening - I am currently on my first playthrough of this game and I love it! It has actually started to inspire a short story. I don't quite know how long it will be; it may even end up being a one-shot in the end. But I am currently working out the plot and hopefully can get to work on it soon.

Crossover - I'm not really into writing crossovers, but I'd like to give it a try at least once and I'm developing an idea (at a snail's pace, if not, slower). Unfortunately, due to not being completely thought out enough just yet, I don't even have a title in mind. However, I will say that the story will revolve around major Final Fantasy rivals: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII. Common, I know, but...I just can't pass it up!XD

RANDOM NOTES

In what I consider a rather interesting and amazing observation, two of my stories appear to have theme songs. If you read the stories, and then listen to the song I have listed beside it, you may very well come to believe the same thing:

"Parallel" - "Taking Over Me" by Evanescense - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLveefklFMw - This perfectly describes Rinoa's search for Squall to be reunited with him, and the whole feel and theme of the story.

"Into the Fire" - "Let It Burn" by Red - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riV0Rykkmo8 - While I have not yet posted enough chapters of this story to really compare it to the song, if you pay attention to the lyrics, you may get a good idea of what this story is about. It perfectly details the relationship between Squall and Rinoa and the trials they face along the way. (Honestly, I've recently come up with an entire soundtrack for this fanfic, lol.)

Now, however...just for fun:

Let's start with your experiences of Final Fantasy (taken from ZephyrSkye's profile.8D)
How many of the games do you own?
Eight

Which one did you play most recently?
VIII

To you, what makes Final Fantasy such a good series?
It's fun, exciting, and the stories are all so well told! The creativity that is SE never ceases to amaze me! Plus, I'd love to live a life that was full of such action and excitement as in the games!

List the FF games you've played, from favorite to least favorite,
Oh boy, this won't be easy, but...VIII, XIII, X, X-2, IX, VII, XIII-2, XII

Your Favorite Final Fantasy Game
Which game is your favorite?
VIII! The best by far!

Who does your party usually consist of?
Squall, Rinoa, and Zell

Who is the best character?
Squall

What do you like most about the game?
What's NOT to like about it? I can't answer this question easily, lol. But, if I have to...I guess the story, first and foremost. It's easy to follow, fun, eventful, and it manages to cover the lives of the characters. Some games just leave you with vague hints to such. Not to mention, I love seeing how Squall and Rinoa grow attached to each other over time! How much he saves her really shows what she means to him, even though he won't admit it at first.

Are there aspects of it you don't like?
Honestly...I really can't think of anything. There are boring parts, but every game has those. I guess drawing is annoying, but only because you have to restock all over again when restarting, lol, and sometimes the characters fail to perform the action. After I get a decent amount of magic, though, I really don't mind it.

Have you ever completed it? (Ie, got all ultimate weapons and secrets etc)
Well, I have never even attempted to acquire Cactuar, but I've done everything else as far as I know.

How old were you when you first played it?
21. Didn't acquire it until then.

Best and Worst
Best playable male character:
Squall, for sure. He's my favorite FF hero!

Best playable female character:
Rinoa, Rikku, Lightning, Tifa (hard to decide, lol)

Best villain:
Uh, I guess...Kuja?

Best battle system:
VIII! It's so free-range, completely player-driven. Everyone can be given different commands for battle.

Best summon/GF/Aeon/whatever they're called this time:
Shiva

Most moving and/or epic cutscene:
Moving: Squall rescuing Rinoa at the Sorceress Memorial, Epic: Chapter 12 Opening in XIII! (L-O-V-E IT!XD)

Best limit/overdrive/you know what I mean:
Lionheart

Best Cid:
Cid Highwind - FFVII

Best character theme tune:
Serah

Favorite character of all time:
Squall

Lamest antagonist:
Barthandelus. He's all talk.

Worst story line:
Honestly...VII. I don't get it at ALL. It just seems to change so much.

Worst battle system:
XII. It's a little confusing and really hard to keep up with the HP. I go through Phoenix Down's in a heartbeat. Plus, it can be difficult to keep track of your characters with those colored lines flying around the screen.

Worst summon:
In general - none. But, I do think Odin is completely useless in FFVIII. I only get him to acquire Gilgamesh.

Best game overall:
VIII

Worst game overall:
Probably XIII-2. You go through all of that for NOTHING pretty much. What a waste! There were so many aspects of it that I didn't like, but the plot was confusing and the ending of it all just sucked. All the girl wanted was to find her sister. Come ON! Plus, SE promised an ending where "Lightning ends up happy", and promptly failed to follow through. What a letdown...

Favorite Character From The Games (leave blank ones you haven't played or know about personally)

II - Firion
VII - Tifa
VIII - Squall/Rinoa/Zell
IX - Vivi/Garnet
X - Tidus/Yuna/Rikku
XII - Ashe/Balthier
