Have you ever seen the stem of a perfect rose? One of the most beautiful roses I have ever seen had five, wicked, nasty thorns leading up to view the exquisite flower. It made me think how similar that rose was to love. If one must feel excruciating pain to know immense joy, then every rose has its thorn.

*COMPLETE* Anne, having such a deep love for her mother, is sent to live with her Aunt Giry at the Opera Populaire, while her mother slowly dies of consumption. Erik, having such a deep love for Christine, is still living beneath the Opera House, living only half a life. Both will be tested and tried in order to find that there is more to the other and more to life than just music.

She enters the life of a mysterious masked boy, who unlike her has been exposed to a different sort of harsh reality about the way of the world, he has relinquished whatever hope he has of freeing himself of it. The Phantom wallows beneath the rubble and ruin from the flames he brought upon all. Vivienne, a former ballerina, seeks shelter in Erik's domain after tragedy strikes her. Danielle BellRose is sick. She has to have surgery but there is no guarantee that she'll survive. Her family asked what she wanted in case she didn't survive, now she's at the Royal Albert Hall about to see the 25th Anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera. When she gets hurled back in time and finds she's in the Opera Populaire, can she show the Phantom real happiness? Erik/OC

Erik finds young Christine in the middle of a blizzard. Unable to turn his back from her he makes the choice to take her with him, but as the child begins to charm Erik, he must question whether he can keep her, and if he does, how does he survive living with her - without taking her away from the world she knows.

What if Erik had been more honest with Christine? What if he had acted quicker? What if Christines father didnt simply die of illness but was murdered? What if Christine didnt remember Raoul as much as he would like? A different retelling of the story with more twists along the way. Kay/Kopit/ALW/Leruox influences. E/C eventually.

Through heartbreak and trial, Christine must learn to trust and grow under the guidance of a sinister and deadly guardian.

Christine goes to her father's grave to find resolution, and finds instead a Ghost. Without Raoul to protect her, she cannot escape him, and the course of their lives is irrevocably altered.

Of all the duets, theirs is the strangest.

Erik begins his life anew in Paris after many years of trial and struggle, swearing to never again submit to a man's fickle emotions. Perhaps Christine Daae can change his mind . . .

In an effort to earn her happy ending, Christine accepts Erik's proposition and learns love through pretend.

This sequel to ALW's Phantom continues, with old characters and new, happy times and sad times, adventure and romance, but most of all our favorite Opera Ghost – Erik.

When Christine's world crumbles, she returns to the man who had once loved her beyond all reason. But even if they can slay their own demons, will they be able to escape the wrath of those left in their destructive wake? COMPLETE.
