..Daryl/Beth.. AU S4 prison. Beth looked back to him and she was smiling again and he didn't know her well enough to know if it was an actual smile or a fake one. And for some reason, not knowing that bothered him even though he had no idea why it would. He had other things – bigger things – to worry about than whether or not Beth Greene's smile was genuine.

This story is based off of the Walking Dead and it is my version of what happens after season 4 ends. It starts off with Daryl and Beth fleeing the prison after the Governor attacks and slowly builds a relationship between them. Then, it follows Beth and Daryl once they are separated and how they manage to be reunited.
