ABOUT A GIRL...

If I could wish for anything, I'd wish to grow two more inches and have a size six foot.

My name is KayCee Hyde (online anyway). I'm eighteen, live in the Hudson Valley. I'm a glasses-wearing, redheaded, green-eyed, petite and thin-yet-shapely Seattlesound/grunge addict. I suffer from terminal laziness and overambition (a scary combination), and my pastimes include daydreaming, drawing, obsessing over Nirvana and Kurt Cobain, writing/reading, playing video games , listening to my iPod, and pretending to be British. Seriously.

My genres-of-choice are historical fiction, YA fiction, sci-fi/fantasy, and general fiction. I'm not much of a poet, but I do love me some Edgar Allen Poe and Oscar Wilde. I never go anywhere without my keys, my iPod, chapstick, a small notebook and a pen, my wallet, and my cell phone, and with these things I'm always boy scout prepared.

I currently have a FictionPress account that I update semi-regularly where I display, edit, and write most of my stories-in-progress. Note that my updates are very sporadic and sometimes lackluster, because eventually I start to feel guilty for not updating and end up posting the raw, uneditied versions.
