Promped by Sian making an off-hand remark about Rangers in tight spaces, then adding that this was just what she wanted to take her mind off her migraine. Started out as PWP migraine cure, but has now taken on a life of its own - AU all the way through to Pelennor and Houses of Healing.

Fili dies in the Battle of Five Armies but leaves behind one thing that will get Kili out alive... Kili, the new King Under the Mountain, might just be the wrong dwarf to hold the northern lands together as an unforgiving winter closes in. Post BOFA AU, Kili/Tauriel.
