January 20, 2009 - Inauguration Day!

Greetings, friends. Every few years I feel I must come and update this note, so as to not sound like such a child. What you'll see here are stories written back when I was still cutting my fanfiction writing teeth. They really are not of any particularly commendable quality, so I hope you don't get too much amusement out of them. They are, however, good examples of immature writing that you should not emulate (not that there aren't enough of those floating around the interwebs).

My point is this. I'm leaving these stories here for posterity, but nothing shall ever be done with them, and I've as good as disowned the lot of 'em.

In case you really are interested, as of this writing I am a 3rd year university student, Linguistics/Japanese double major. I'll be 20 in about 3 months. I've taken 5 semesters of Japanese now, and do translating with my scanlation group, Domo Scans (as Xiao Cha), or for lyrics as ArtemisA on Anime Lyrics. I plan to make a career of it someday. I'm still a huge otaku, though my tastes now are a bit more... refined, let's say.

I've moved on to bigger and better things as far as writing goes (not that I've finished much more). If you're interested in my latest semi-abandoned project, it can be found at though I'm now planning on reviving a different story that I abandoned in '06.

Yes, I probably sound like a haughty jerk... and I'm okay with that. =P
