Hello to all whom have read my stories, both of you.

But in all seriousness, after spending a few years roving this site and consuming chapter after chapter, story after story, series after series. I've decided to give this fanfiction thing a bash myself. Over a year ago I uploaded Breaking Point, a story that whirled around in my mind for ages and developed as I wrote it (don't all stories?), it did better than I imagined and still gets the odd favourite or two to this day. Sadly work and University take up most of my time at the minute, that and my gaming lifestyle. So most of my stories will be reduced to extremely long one shots. I know some of you may not like these types of stories. But if there's one thing I hate on this site it is a fantastic story with so much potential that has quite a few chapters and is then seemingly abandoned without notice.

Most of my stories will be of the Harry Potter universe, I'm not much a big fan of Potterverse I guess you could call it, but I've rarely strayed from Harry Potter fan fictions whilst on this site. Most, if not all, of my stories will likely be a Harmony (Harry & Hermione) pairing.

Little about me:

A Scottish Uni student in his early 20's who enjoys football, video games and heavy metal music. Not much else I wish to say without giving something away that could cause someone to stalk me.

Apologies if my stories suck but I'm not exactly good at writing or getting into a story mindset. I get liked... 5-10 stories developing in my head, I go to write them down only to discover blank spaces where the story or certain ideas for the story may be.

Also, to those who review and post nothing but things along the lines of "this wouldn't happen because of this" bla bla bla. Most common one in the HP fics I've read has been when the author has bashed Ron Weasley and someone has reviewed bitching and moaning about how Ron wouldn't do this because he's Harry's best friend yadda, yadda, yadda. They seem to forget that this is a site where we can bash Ron or anybody else because it's our stories. As long as we aren't making money of the author's original work then everyone is fair game to be bashed.

Harry Potter

Most, if not all, of my stories are going to be in the Harry Potter Universe. I don't know why, mainly cause it has the most stories in the books section or maybe because it's what I've read the most of, I don't know. May branch out in the future, but for now we're sticking here.

Pairings that will happen

Harry/Hermione - What can I say, I know lots of people will disagree, but I find Harry & Hermione to be the most natural pairing in the HP Universe. The last two books really disappointed me. On both the Harry & Ginny relationship & the Ron & Hermione relationship. Why? Because for the first 5 books there is absolutely no hint of love. Yes Ron is jealous of Hermione at the Yule ball, but is that because he fancies her? Maybe. Personally I think it's more because she attended the ball on Krum's arm and was at the Champions table. However, Harry and Hermione danced around each other for 5 years then all of a sudden the mutual attraction that was obviously there between them is gone, just gone.

Lupin/Tonks

Sirius/Multiple (not as in a harem. More as in I can't decide between Amelia, Hestia Jones, Emmeline Vance, or an OC. May drift towards OC since there's more variety there. But out of the non-OC characters. I'd say I'd usually pair him with Amelia.)

Pairings that will NOT happen

Harry/Snape - I'm not against slash in anyway, but I mean come on. The guy is literally old enough to be Harry's father.

Harry/Voldemort - This one is even worse. I'm sorry but personally, I fail to see how someone could enter into a relationship with the same person that killed their parents, nevermind that said person is old enough to be Harry's grandfather

Hermione/Snape - Same reason

Hermione/Voldemort - Again same reason, minus the killing of the parents part

Hermione/Ron - See above

Things that will NOT happen in my stories

One thing that will definitely NOT happen will be the needless killing of Hermione's parents. A lot of the times I read fics I enjoy the one's where Harry actually meets and builds a relationship with Hermione's parents. Mostly due to Robst's stories I think. Something else that bugs me, we're forced to either guess or make up the names for Hermione's parents since JK couldn't be bothered to give us anymore background other than they're dentists. And if I remember correctly we don't even find that out until the sixth book.

It's gotten to the stage where I'll be reading a story, Hermione's parents will be needlessly killed and I will immediately stop reading. Even if it's a really good story.

Authors on here that inspire me to write

Without doubt number 1 is Robst, not only because he is a fellow Scot, but because his stories are that of pure genius. They're well though out, regularly updated and always a great read.

DZ2 - Another great author with great stories. Although his tend to be towards the darker nature, they're still a great read. Only problem is that he usually has like 5 stories going at one time and so some either get abandoned or put up for adoption which can be disappointing. I remember he had a Skyrim HP story going at one time but then deleted it for some reason.
