![]() Author has written 1 story for Dragon Age. So about me...ah, I'm more of the mindset that my characters and writing should speak for myself, but here we go. My name is Dylan, though you can call me either that, or GildedJill, whatever is preferred. I'm a soon to be college student, took a year off for personal dealings and have finally built up the courage, with the prodding of a few close friends, to upload my writings onto this fine site. Now, I'm sure if people come here and as times go on, they will see a theme of the stories I'm writing about, and if this isn't obvious by the setting of A Tale of Two Wardens, Bioware and Western RPGs are my port of call. Ever since I was a child, I found myself drawn to worlds not my own, but none appealed to me more than fantasy, the world of magic, warriors, mystique, all balled up into a wonderful world that while similar to our own, is very much not. While many of these games allowed you to take the world into your own hands, molding it and forming it around a character of your choosing...it was never enough for me. Gaming itself is the truest art form, a culmination of so many different mediums, art, writing, music, and so on, into one form...allowing together a thing they could never achieve on their own, total interaction. But every side of this has limitations on the other, forcing the story into certain constraints. The mind however, does not have these restraints, that is why I like many of us, have taken character we've created and imagined them beyond what the games, the worlds we play in, could ever lead them. That is what lead me here, to show the world a little of my own creations, my own take on the fantasy worlds we love. I hope everyone enjoys the ride I plan to bring you all on.
