Celebrating their friends' wedding anniversary on a Caribbean island was something to be excited about. It would be if Eponine and Enjolras could get along for five minutes. But the trip revels the truth behind many relationships, including ones that blossomed years ago and ones that were never given a chance.

Enjolras has only been a professor for a few years but has, since Day One, always tried his best to be very formal and distant with his students. He's only twenty-eight but he doesn't date - he works and spends time with his friends - and he most certainly is not nice to students who corner him in his office at night.

The dreams are leading Enjolras somewhere, that much he can tell. They point him in the direction of a street and a group of friends. Eponine is hopelessly in love with Marius, but Enjolras begins to see in her something that Marius never did, beneath the rags and suffering. His stone heart softens for her, because she is what his revolution is all about.

Eponine was pushed out of her home when she was seven, and lived in the slums of Paris for another seven years, before being adopted by a wealthy Duchess. During her time as a poor girl, though, she met a boy named Enjolras, who she was best friends with. Now they are older, and much has changed. Will they find each other and be able to fall in love?
