NEW JOB: As of 10/7/14 I've just begun a new job. Working and an InterContinental hotel about 40 hours a week my college classes. My writing will slow down to snail's pace. The most likely outcome is an update once a month and I'll try to do this on Tuesday's as its the only day that I know for sure that I won't have work.

History: I first got into fanfiction my freshman year of college about 2 years ago when I was browsing the Naruto subreddit and came across a post about good fanfictions. The first story I ever read was The Girl from Whirlpool by SilverShine which, unfortunately was never finished. However, with that story I was hooked.

My next story was Shadows of Konoha by Amora Journeys which opened my eyes to the possibility that fanfiction allowed. It created an amazing narrative within the universe we all know and love, especially with my unsatisfied hunger for Naruto Manga/Anime this was my answer to all the "what-if" scenarios.

NARUTO ENDING:

It.Was.So.Shounen.

In the end it stopped being about ninjas and started being about who could become taller. The final clash brought back some feels, but just cus it was well-tied to the previous fight, but I just kinda wish Naruto had stuck it to Sasuke and left him in a ditch. I know, I know its not in his canon personality, but Sasuke was such a dick and all it takes is one "I'm sorry" for him to bone Sakura?

Final Naruto pairings are out while predictable I think they could have been better.

Naruto/Sakura while not my favorite pairing would have fit the bill the best as she's the most similar to Kushina, as mentioned by Minato. Naruto needs someone to straighten him out. Naru/Hina is just soooo... Bleh its bland and meek and not interesting at all. Both guys end up with fan girls. What does it say? Fan girl and win apparently.

Ino/Sai was interesting I didn't see it coming though a friend told me it was hinted at it flew over my head. Choji and Karui seemed funny seeing the nice guy with the spit-fire. We all knew Shika/Tem was happening.

Having left out Shino/Ten-Ten/Kiba/Lee leaves some questions, but they weren't very interesting to most I guess since there wasn't much of an outrage that they weren't included.

All-in all I'm sad that its over since Naruto has made up 15 years of my life, but it opens up a world of possibilities for FanFiction since canon is technically over(at least until Part 3 starts hue hue hue hue hue)

What you won't find in my Fan-Fics:

Yaoi - Don't want to read it, don't want or know how to write it. Don't got nothing against homosexuality, go for it, love is blind is an expression often used that fits both bills. I guess it comes out a bit as homophobic and if it does I apologize but, I don't like to read it, sue me.

NaruHina - Overpaired, overdone, overwritten, over over over so much. Its not going to happen in my stories, sorry. Naruto is hard headed, she is to soft to straighten him out. I don't think they're a good pairing.

Instant God-Like Naruto - Defeats the purpose of even trying to write, why have him god-like if he cant develop, especially if he just beats everybody and is the strongest mofo in the world. Sure its cool to read sometimes, but its just boring once you realize "Oh hey, HES NEVER GOING TO BE CHALLENGED"

In most cases this doesn't mean I won't read it if its done well, you'll see some of these things in some of the stories I read or mention, but it has to be pretty interesting or written pretty well, both if possible, for me to say "damn that was a really cool story."

Shadow of Konoha by Amora Journeys (Complete)

A very dark fanfic that takes a real approach to the Naruto Universe and the ANBU world. Amora journeys plays with your emotions frequently, but keeps you entranced with an amazing writing ability. It'll have you wanting a sequel because its that flippin good. Naruto and how he deals with the reality of the Shinobi world through the eyes of ANBU

Lost Soul by LD1449 (Complete)

Darkest fic in terms of Naruto's stand point. Unfortunately it's a little dated having been started in 2007 before a lot of revelations were made in canon. If you're a canon freak and can't stand some of the mis-information probably not for you, but by far one of the most interesting takes on what would happen if Naruto was trained as a weapon by the Sandaime

The Sealed Kunai by Kenchi618 (Complete)

Semi-ANBU. This was my first story by Kenchi, and ironically enough it was his first fan-fiction. The start is rough littered with literary mistakes, I honestly havent' been back since I finished and I don't know if hes gone back and edited the first 20 sometihng odd chapters. None-the-less an very very good story about a Naruto taken under the wings of Danzo only to later be sealed and his memory wiped clean. How you ask? read and find out mwahahahaha

Sage by Digitize27 (Complete)

Very interesting Rinnegan Naruto story. I really enjoy how the chapters are separated and Digi brings out a not oft used pairing of Naruto/Fuu. Although Fuu is a bit 1-Dimensional at first she really starts to come out after the time-skip and I really enjoyed watching her character develop

Better Left Unsaid by Kenchi618 (In-Progress)

This story is the only one I can say I wished replaced canon. Its everything you want in a fan-fic. Naruto is strong but he isn't god-like and it brings out some of the "minor" characters in canon who I believe should have been explored more. Naruto/Ino fic one of the best Naruto/Ino fanfics on the market.

The Hope of the Senju Clan by Aragon Potter (In-Progress)

In a twist of fate Tsunade is... NARUTO'S MOM?!!? Yeah, its flippin awesome. Naruto's a bit OP, but its fine because, in my opinion, the writing is very good and not childish in the ways a lot of god-like Naruto Fics tend to be. Tsunade makes a great mom and this Naruto is just straight up kick-ass. He's not yet godlike because he can still get his ass handed to him by anybody above Kakashi, but yeah. Hes been training since like 4 with two sannin's, has immesurable chakra w/ perfect control he'll be god-like soon.

The Prodigal Namikaze by SoulReaperCrowe (In-Progress)

THIS STORY RIGHT HERE. Naruto is Itachi's age and grows up with him and Anko as his teammates. Ignored by his parents in favor of his twin siblings he learns to become bad ass all on his own. This fic has one of the lesser seen pairings of Kurotsuchi/Naruto I wish there would be more updates soon Q.Q

Neo Yondaime Hokage: by Psycho G (In-Progress)

Harem Naruto, I know I know, but this one isn't as 1-Dimensional as other harem fics. It has a really interesting concept of having the Yondaime AND the Kyuubi both sealed within Naruto, so he gains the knowledge of the 4th and knows who his dad is from an early age. Technically a chibi yondaime

The Ultimate Doujutsu by KyuubiGoku (Complete and still waiting for sequel CURSE YOU KG)

Strange Harem Naruto because of the way KG handles the bijuu among other things, but nonetheless a classic for Naruto Fanfic readers. The harem IMO is overplayed, but the concepts that he brings about are engaging enough and crazy enough for you to just ignore the harem unless you love lime.

Namikaze Legend by Blackwolf501 (Complete and sequel started)

Man there are no words to describe this other than EPIC. Blackwolf creates an AU where Mikoto and Minato get married and have Naruto and Itachi, where Naruto is essentially canon Itachi in age and prodigal status and early ideals. Itachi is canon Naruto with some twists that I wont reveal here because it takes the fun out of reading the fic yourself. It uses some cross-over names, but its not a cross over fic since they are shinobi with the names not their anime abilities. Rangiku from Bleach and Mikasa Ackerman and Armen Alert from Attack on Titan, but again molded to fit the Naruto scheme all the share is a name and some personality traits

These aren't necessarily the "best" of all time, but in my opinion they're some of the most entertaining and well written stories I've found on this website. There are a lot more, but I think this is a pretty solid top 10 and displays some of my favorite authors.

This is my first fan fiction and as such I'm taking great care in making sure its at the level of literature that I would expect from other fan fiction writers.

I'm going include here a very short outline without giving too much away

Part 1

Prologue/Academy Days 0-12 years Old

As you can kinda guess by reading the starting arc of part 3 this is not going to be an early godlike Naruto fic. I hate seeing fics that have Naruto at Kage level graduating the academy. What's the point? There will be a steady progression of his skills and also the skills of ALL the rookie 9.

I feel like a lot of writers on this website give ranks without realizing the ramifications of the ranks that are bestowed upon their characters. Ranking in the Bingo Book will definitely be something I look to highlight

There are more to parts 2 and 3, when we reach there I will slowly start to reveal the arcs. I don't want to do so now as it would ruin some surprises I have in store.

If I choose to do lime (may or may not, not too sure) It will be in part 2 and beyond. I'm not having pre-teens have sex -.-

Also, I don't believe in the whole "love at first sight" that a lot of people put out here on this website. You're telling me that a kid falls in love at the age of 8, continues to live and/or date this same girl until they're god knows how old and there are no problems? No outside engaging factors? Couples break up and get back together all the time, and the in-between times is where the juicy stuff comes out.

"Oh Naruto and Hinata broke up? Time to get a piece of that pie," says Ino.

I mean come on who could resist all those sexy kunoichi that are found in the Narutoverse.

All I'm saying is that most of us know how relationships work and 9/10 times it does.not.work.out. That 1/10 you find the girl(or guy) of your dreams and sometimes even then it doesn't work! Sometimes because they don't feel the same way or one of you messes the whole thing up. All I'm saying is that relationships are a tool to enhance the story, and just how it enhances it, it also takes away from the story if its not interesting enough to keep the reader engaged and sounds like forever happy, 1-dimensional couple with no problems.
